Maintenance Period

• May 21st, 2020 @ 12:00 ~ 18:00 (JST)
• May 20th, 2020 @ 11:00pm ~ May 21st @ 5:00am (EDT)

After the maintenance period, you must update to version 2.0.0 of the app to play.

※ Please refrain from creating an Idola before maintenance.
※ Because of various modifications to the battle system and characters, you won’t be able to continue a battle started before maintenance after the maintenance.

Episode 2 is here!

Leo or Cancer? The fate of the world is up in the air, and the battle of the Solders of the Zodiacs will soon begin.

The world is at peace after the battle with Dark Falz, but the peace is disturbed when the crown prince of the Cancer militant nation declares war on the empire ruled by Leo. A new battle featuring a new protagonist and the Zodiarts will soon begin…

 

Episode 2, Record 1: Awakening

What threat lies in visiting Vandor again? And who exactly is Giselle, the girl that appeared to the Aries Knights one day?

 

New Protagonist

Episode 2 follows a new protagonist, not Uly from Episode 1. You can change the protagonist’s name, appearance, and elemental attribute to your liking.  

 

Fate Divergence and Type Change

In the big Episode 2 update, an addition to the Fate Divergence system is “Type Change”. 

A character will have 1 of 6 types, and it can change after a Fate Divergence. Each type will have its own effects that boost or hinder certain stats.

※ After the 2.0.0 Update, you will be able to do Fate Divergence and Type Change without the need of a Fate Scroll. Fate Scrolls in 2.0.0 will be used in [Bond Quests], quests where you can get a lot of Bond Points with characters.
※ After the 2.0.0 Update, you will be able to change a character back to their pre fate divergence form.
※ Destiny Bonus can be applied to a character on both their pre and post fate divergence form.
※ The UI regarding character icons will change to accommodate showing a character’s type.

In addition to the changes to fate divergence listed above, every player will receive 9 Fate Scrolls after the maintenance on May 21st, 2020.

 

Descent Quests

Descent Quests are a new type of quest that will allow you to face off against fierce foes like Dark Falz Theater. To play them, you use [Subjegation Requests] witch you get from logging in daily. When you partake in these quests, you’ll get [Descent Medals], which you can trade for Unique Weapon Symbols.

Unique Weapon Symbols are weapon symbols that have powerful status and effects, but can only be used if a character is of a specific class.

Daily 10 Pull Gacha

Starting with Episode 2, the daily free 10 pull gacha lineup has been updated! Each day, you can do a free 10 pull from this gacha with EX characters in its line up! Its lineup will also be updated now and again!

 

Character Special Effect

During certain times in [Gathering Quests] and [Decent Quests], specific characters will have Special Effects that do things like increase rare drop rates in Gathering Quests, and Stats in Decent Quests.

 

New Breakthrough Quest: Forbidden Area

A new high difficulty breakthrough quest called “Forbidden Area” is here in IDOLA!

The Elemental Attributes allowed in the quest are limited, there are no continues, and you can’t use support partners, so you’ll need a strong party to breakthrough!

※ Your party must be of a certain strength value to challenge this quest.

 

New Arena Ranking Awards

1.5 Year Anniversary Event

It’s time to celebrate the 1.5 year anniversary of Idola! In this new event, you can earn [Anniversary Medals] to pull on the anniversary Box Gacha for rewards such as Uly’s 5* variant, tickets and dolls!

 

Character and Gacha Changes

About Characters Released after 2.0.0

In battle Character Models Change

• Characters released after the 2.0.0 update will use 3D character models in battle, unlike pre 2.0.0 characters who will continue to be 2D models.

Elemental Blast Change

• To go with the new Fate Divergence [Type Change] system, elemental blasts for pre and post divergence will be uniform.

 

Changes to Permanent Gachas 

EX Characters in Gacha Lineup

• Starting with 2.0.0, some of the EX variants of characters will be added to the Permanent Star Diamond gacha, and in each ★5 Character 10% Gacha.

Timing of Adding Characters to Permanent Gacha 

• Characters will be added to the Permanent Gacha and ★5 Character 10% Gachas irregularly after distribution as opposed to after they are released.

 

 

System and Balance Updates

System Updates

Birthdate Change

• The player’s birthdate can be changed at any time.
  ※ From now on, Uly’s elemental attribute will be the same as the EPISODE 2 protagonist, who’s attribute can be changed as many times as desired.

Party Organization Screen Change

• In the Party Organization screen, the “PARTY” mark on a character in the character list and the “In use [使用中]” mark on a Symbol in the Symbol List will be changed so that the symbols only appear if that character or symbol is being used in the party currently being set up.

Improvement of Various Content Unlock

• The order and timing players will unlock Idola Battle, Arena, IdoMags, and Brigade, will be changed from where the player is in the story to their player rank.

Biographical Quest Change

• All characters (except collaboration characters) will have the first chapter of their Biographical Quest open and ready to play.

Home Menu Improvement

• The Home Menu screen changes depending on the time of day.

 

Balance Updates

Story Quest Enemy Level Change

• The option to change the level of the enemies according to the player’s party level will be added to Story Quests.

Arena Coin Amount Gain Change

• The number of arena coins gained from the Arena Battles will be increased.

Daily Achievements and Weekly Missions Change

• The rewards for the following Daily Achievements will be changed:
  • “Do 1 Gacha Pull” gives [EneGummy x1]
  • “Clear 1 Quest” gives [Rainbow EXP Book +3 x30]
  • “Fight 1 Idola in Idola Battle” gives [Idola Crystals x 50]
  • “Clear all Daily Achievements” give [Star Diamonds x50]
• The reward for completing the Weekly Missions in Idola Battle has been changed to [Symbol Gacha Ticket x1]
  ※ New Weekly missions will go into effect May 25th @ 5:00 (JST)
• The rewards for the following Weekly Missions in the Arena will be changed:
  • “Fight 1 Battle at the [強敵] Difficulty” gives [All-Purpose Symbol Fragment [Weapon] x1]
  • “Accumulate a score of 1500000 points” gives [Illusion Map [Material] x1]
  • “Accumulate a score of 3000000 points” gives [Illusion Map [IdoRappy] x1]
