Version 2.3.0 of Idola Phantasy Star Saga will be arriving soon with various system changes.

 

Maintenance Notice

Maintenance Period

After the maintenance period, you must update to version 2.3.0 of the app to play.

※ Please refrain from creating an Idola before maintenance.
※ Brigade Battles will be suspended on day of maintenance. Season 4 of Brigade battles will start September 16th, 2020, @ 2:00 (JST).

 

Improvement and Balances

System Updates

Brigade Battle Matching Updates

In order to do better Brigade Battle Matching, the system will prioritize the following information in this order to better match opponents.

  1. Brigade’s League Rank
  2. Brigade win rate in descending order
  3. Number of people in a brigade in descending order

Arena Matching Update

When you choose to match against stronger enemies (The [強敵] option), the enemy’s party strength will be closer to yours.

※ In the situation where the player gains more party strength and becomes stronger than the enemy, the enemy will receive a boost.

Mid-Battle Descriptions Changes

On the attack details screen that you can access mid-battle to learn more about attacks, skills that add [Cost Reduction], [Reduce Element Use], [Unleash Inhibitions], etc, will display how much the status effects have increased or decreased the cost of skills, ect.

 

Bonus Flag Character Display

On the Brigade Battle formation menu, the UI will be changed to help players understand who benefits from the bonus flag.

 

Descent Medal Exchange Shop Addition

Platinum Dolls will be added to the shop, and more ways to get platinum dolls will be added to the game.

 

Chat Stamps

To help communicate with other players, you can use chat stamps. There are 4 new Stamps that you can use: “Do your best! (がんばろう)”, “Thank You! (ありがとう)”, “Victory! (勝利)”, and “No Worries! (ドンマイ)”.

 

Balances

Changes to the “Mark” Status Effect

The following changes will be made to the

status effect.

  • The “Remove Marking” demerit that exists in some attacks will be removed.
  • [Mark]’s DEF reduction will change from 5% to 10%.
  • The description of the Status Effect will now include the maximum amount of times the status can stack.

 

Changes to the “Provoke” Status Effect

The following changes will be made to the

status effect.

  • The Provoke effect will now also be activated when attacks are used that hit a random amount of times, attacks that hit a random amount of enemies, and attacks that hit all enemies instead of only working on single target attacks.
  • In the case of an attack that hits a random amount of times, the character that inflicted [Provoke] will be hit the specified number of times that the attack was used
  • In the case of all enemies attack or random amount of enemies, the unit that was inflicted with [Provoke] will be the only one to take damage.

 

Other Changes

AI changes

When using the auto-battle feature, fighting in Brigade Battle and fighting in Arena, the criteria the AI will use to determine if using Reverse Rush is appropriate has been updated.

Beginner Quests Display Change

Beginner Quests display area will move from the event quest list to the story quest list.
