Episode 2 Delay

In a letter from IDOLA’s Producer, Shuntaro Tanaka, he reports that all the IDOLA team has is now working from home, to help combat the current COVID-19 pandemic. Because of the shift in the environment, it’s been hard for the inhouse IDOLA team and other external development to keep up the same workflow. Thus, Episode 2 and the massive 2.0.0 Update is delayed until late May.
 
In addition to that, there will be no uploads to IDOLA Channel because of the difficulty of recording, and the IDOLA Concept Art Collection that was to be released on the App Store will be canceled due to difficulties in developing it.
 
The future schedule is still under review while the team looks at the coronavirus situation in Japan, so they don’t have a concrete schedule at the moment. Updates will be provided once they have one. 
 
The team will continue to try and help players enjoy Idola during the delay. They have extended current events, added new boost periods, and the Road to Episode 2 daily free gacha will continue until the release of Episode 2.
 
The team apologizes for the delay and asks that you continue to take care of yourselves, and look forward to the future of IDOLA.

Totonotto is the next character to join the EX series! 

Her before divergence/ law divergence Elemental Blast has a lower cost than her non-EX counterpart, making it easier to cancel out the support effects of her enemies. On top of that, her chaos divergence skill [Kaboom Flower EX] allows her to cancel her enemy’s support effects!

※ Bond Points are shared between a character and their EX counterpart. If both versions are in a party and gain a gift from maxing out their Bond Points, you will only receive one gift.
※ While both versions of a character share Bond Points and Biographical Quests, they are still different characters, meaning that they don’t share Destiny Bonus.
※ Even though they have different card illustrations, a normal and EX version of a character share the same voice lines and model in battle.
