Step Up Star Festival: Siegmund Gacha

At last, the ‘Crimson Lion’ Siegmund, Emperor of Leoria is a playable character! He introduces the new class “Emperor” and the new(-ish) Idola “Royal Leo”!

This Star Festival introduces step-up gachas to the game! In a Step-Up gacha, you get can get discounted 10 pulls, bonus items, and guaranteed pulls depending on what step you’re on. You start at Round 1, Step 1, and move up steps when you pull from the gacha. Once you reach Step 5 of a round and pull, you’ll advance to the next Round’s Step 1.

In this Gacha, you’re guaranteed to pull Siegmund on Round 1 and 2’s 5th Steps.

Version 1.9.0 of Idola Phantasy Star Saga will be arriving soon with new content and quality of life changes!

After the maintenance period, you must update to version 1.9.0 of the app to play.

※ Please refrain from creating an Idola before maintenance.
※ SEGA has reported problems with the game if you play on Android 10.

 

Content Updates

Story Update

The 1.9.0 Update brings Chapter 11: Comrade in Arms -commilitoni nostro-!

If you catch up to the story before the chapter comes out, you’ll get 600 Star Diamonds, 50 Rainbow EXP Book +3, and 100 Idola Cores!

 

Destiny Bonus

In the 1.9.0 update, a new growth mechanic called “Destiny Bonus” is being added!

Destiny Bonus is a system where your characters’ stats get stronger when you have two versions of a character with Limit Breaks and different fate divergences.

When you have two versions of a character after they undergo Fate Divergence, They will get a “Destiny Bonus”. The level of the Destiny Bonus depends on the Limit Break levels that both characters have. The max level for a Destiny Bonus is +8.

  • Pre 1.9.0 Max Stats for a Character
    • Base Stats (Lv. 100 cap) + Limit Break (+4)
  • Post 1.9.0 Max Stats for a Character
    • Base Stats (Lv. 100 cap) + Limit Break (+4) + Destiny Bonus (+8)

 

※ (Example) The Stellas in the screenshots above have a Destiny Bonus of +8. This is because the player in this situation has a copy of her Law Fate Divergence at Limit Break +4 and a copy of her Chaos Fate Divergence at Limit Break +4.
※ The stats gained from Destiny Bonus won’t surpass the ones from Limit Break.
※ Some characters, like collab characters and Uly won’t receive Destiny Bonus. They will receive buffs in future game rebalances.

 

[EX] Series Character

Around Mid-September, A new gacha featuring [EX] Characters will be released! These characters will have new attributes, skills, and artwork! Stay tuned for news about these characters!

Platinum Doll

The [Platinum Doll] is a new item that works like the [Limited Doll]. When you collect 10 of them, you can use them to Limit Break a character. Unlike [Limited Dolls], you can use these to Limit Break any character (except Uly).

System Updates

Arena Changes

Arena Change

  • You can change enemy strength at the start of battle

    • After your enemy has been chosen, and you pull a bonus card, You’ll be able to choose the power at the start of the battle.

Arena Balance

  • Element Attribute Contribution Adjustment

    • The amount each Element Attribute can contribute to the final score will be increased, so more damage/recovery effects are count towards the Element Attribute Contribution. In addition to that, the score that you get from the Element Attribute Contribution at the end of a match will be increased.

  • Strength Value Score Adjustment

    • The multiplier used to convert Strength Value to score will increase.

  • End of Match Evaluation Adjustment

    • The multiplier received when you have a [Easy Victory] (快勝) or a [Complete Victory] (圧勝) will increase.

 

Daily Quest Changes

The number of EXP Books dropped for all difficulties will be increased for the following quests 

  • Fire Enhancement (火の強化)
  • Water Enhancement (水の強化)
  • Wind Enhancement (風の強化)
  • Earth Enhancement (土の強化)

 

IdoMag Improvements

The continuous selection speed when you hold down a button will increase in the following situations.

  • When choosing a symbol fragment to feed to an IdoMag as food.
  • Allocating [Growth Points] to IdoMag’s stats.
