Phantasy Star Online 2 is introducing a new PA for Wands, and three new technics. These can be unlocked by clearing Marlu's Client Order. This task requires defeating five hundred Lv41+ Demons, and clearing Enchanted Forest Exploration on VH+ with an A clear rank or higher!

Wand Photon Art

Swing away and bash your foes with the new [Heavy Hammer] PA for Wands! Charge it (up to two levels) for more powerful smacks, or rush your character forward by using it without charging. The non-charged portion also provides several seconds of flinch and launch resistance.

 

Simple Compound Techs

Re Fomelgia (Dark & Fire)

Hold down the button and dart through the field with a spear of flames in hand, piercing all enemies in your path. Release the button to fire a powerful, wide-range blast.

 

Re Zandia (Wind & Lightning)

Suck enemies into a tornado laced with lightning and unleash a finishing bolt capable of stunning survivors. You can even extend the tornado's duration through button mashing.

 

Re Barantsia (Ice & Light)

Sprout frigid wings and fly, delivering a flurry of light projectiles while you hold down the button.

 

What are Simple Compound Technics

Simple Compound Technics are techs with multiple attributes. Similar to regular technics, they activate through the consumption of PP. These technics can also be set to your weapon palette for added convenience.

 

★14 Pets and Rare Colors

New ★14 rarity Pet Eggs will be available for Wanda, Torim, and Cery! This new rarity allows pets to cap out at level 130. In addition, they can acquire ★14-limited personalities. These have the effect of increasing the rare drop rate, among other things.

Players may stumble across eggs with unusual colors. Using this egg during the rarity evolution process will alter your pet's color scheme.

 

Dark Blast Display Settings

View your character within a translucent shell of their Dark Blast form with the new Aura Display feature. This effect is merely cosmetic, and doesn't have any impact on the Dark Blast's functionality. This feature will not be available for the PS Vita version of the game.

 

You can also alter how other players' blasts appear on your screen in the game options.

 

Limited Quest: Arkuma Land

Thanks to advancements in technology, the ARKS have developed a VR Space for the public to enjoy! Enter [Sky Park Arkuma Land] and shoot for a high score by defeating enemies.

 

The higher the score, the higher the rare drop rate! To assist you with this goal are events called "Trial Orders." Clear them to boost your points acquisition rate.

 

Dress up in certain outfits to experience a [Costume Bonus] PSE effect, slightly increasing the rare drop and EXP rate.

 

A Special New Boss

Arkuma Land introduces a new boss known as the "Apostolo Dragon." Unlike the Chrome Dragon, it absorbs power from Darkers and ARKS alike! If too much power is absorbed, it will enter a [Limit Break] phase and unleash quick, powerful attacks.

 

Slay the dragon for the ★14 rare drop Zirenheit-NT (ズィレンハイト-NT)

 

6th Anniversary Drops and Exchange Shop

Browse the wide selection of items available in the 6th Anniversary Exchange Shop. Participate in the Limited Quest, collect 6th Anniversary Badges, and trade them in at the shop for ★13 Homura weapons and Arkuma accessories.

 

The Homura series of weapons have a special upgrade path. After fully upgrading a Homura weapon and collecting specific stones, you can evolve the weapon into one of two ★14 series. The Guren series, clad in crimson flames, focuses on granting higher stats with no S-class ability support. The purple-flamed Shien series, on the other hand, have slots for S1 ~ S3 abilities.

 

The stylish Arkuma Suit Mini will be available as a drop in the Limited Quest!

 

ARKS Glory Race

Let's 'Gain Glory' with the ARKS Glory Race! This time, the Web Panel Event will be set up as a race between different mascots. The mascot who reaches first place will release a commemorative item.

 

Battle Arena Weapon Change

The Battle Arena will once again cycle its available weapons. The following weapons and PAs will be available from June 27th.

• Assault Rifle: Piercing Shell / One Point
• Talis: Na Grants
• Jet Boots: Strike Gust / Gran Wave

 

New Premium Set Features

Daily Boost Overstock

As is stands now, each Daily Order adds a bonus of +5% to your Daily Boost. This can rise to a maximum of 50%. After the update, Premium Users will still cap out at 50%, but will be able to stock an additional 25%.

 

Fixed Camera 4 ~ 6

Three additional [Fixed Cameras] will be afforded to Premium Set users.

 

60 Minute Color Change Editing

Premium Set users will have the added benefit of unlimited editing for 60 minutes when using a Color Change Pass. Due to a bug discovered on June 19th, this feature has been postponed until a later date.

 

Interface Improvements

Item Pack Search

A search bar has been added to the top of the Item Pack window.

 

Beauty Salon Search

A search button has been added to the following windows:

• Face Variation Selection
• Hairstyle Selection
• Costume Selection
• Layered Wear Selection
• Accessory Selection

You can search for the official or partial names in both the Beauty Salon and Item Pack search boxes.

 

Fashion Save Entries Expansion

The following entries can now be saved for [My Fashion] and the [Fashion Catalog].

• Face
• Eyes (L/R)
• Eyebrows
• Eyelashes
• Makeup Pattern 1
• Makeup Pattern 2
• Sticker

Balance Adjustments

Force

• The Class Skill [Rod Shoot] will now build up the Compound Technique Gauge

Techer

• Wand Explosions will now build up the Compound Technique Gauge
• The Class Skill [Party Assist] will now apply to party members using Dark Blast and the Laconium Sword.

Summoner

• The following Pet PAs will have their PP Cost reduced:
  • Wanda PAs: Wanda Slicer, Wanda Shock, Wanda Break
  • Torim PAs: Torim Shout, Torim Slash, Torim Spiral
  • Cery PAs: Cery Plode, Cery Fall, Cery Territory, Cery Chaser

※PP Cost only decreases at Lv.17, except Cery Territory is all levels.

Mirage Escape

• When Mirage Escape is used in the air, the effect of the Skill Ring [L/Step Jump] will also apply if Mirage Escape was cancelled by landing.

Quests

• Time Attack Quests will now unlock when the area is unlocked.

 

Returning Player Bonus

When partying with a player who has not logged in for awhile, the whole party will gain "Returning Player Bonus". The effect does the following:

• +50% Triboost
• +1 Gift from Featured Quest

 

SG Shop Update

The following items will be added to the SG Shop:

• Candy Remover – 1 SG
• All Candy Remover – 5 SG

 

Seraphic Android (AC Scratch)

PSO2's collaboration with the BEATLESS anime series adds cosmetics from characters Lacia and Kouka in a new AC Scratch! Wield their massive [Black Monolith] or [Blood Prayers] weaponry and recreate their poses from key promotional artwork with new lobby actions. Aside from the collaboration, players can expect "Blessed Angel" themed clothing, and Xeno and Echo's wedding attire.
