Special Maintenance (7/9/2012)
Phantasy Star Online 2 will be undergoing maintenance July 9th, 2012.
Maintenance Schedule
- July 9th, 2012 @ 11:00 AM ~ 4:00 PM JST
- July 8th, 2012 @ 10:00 PM ~ 3:00 AM EDT
- Other Time Zones
- To change the number of blocks on each ship in response to the number of concurrent connections and premium block status.
- To set a limit to the number of characters that can be made on Ship 10.
There’s also an English community on Ship 10, so if you are new you should try to join them as quick as possible since Ship 1 through 5 are all full.

Aw geez, it's bad enough 1-5 are restricted, now 10 is, too? I wonder if they plan to add more server capacity, or just hope the momentum dies down…

This is getting out of hand. How are we supposed to play with our friends if they're restricting us to ships AND limiting the number of characters per ship.

I just downloaded the patch, without anything running in the background. Question, on the camp ship, I bought this HP item from a counter which symbol looks like a red butterfly. What is it and what does the lil icon beside my character status mean?

@djecliptik – It's a drink. The HP drink you mentioned raises your max HP a bit for 30 mins. or 1 quest, whichever ends first.

they sshould let us change ships i wanna play with my friends when they can finaly play the game and now they cant join the same ship as me its pretty lame

For now you can't move to other ships. I'd assume they'll add that feature once everything is stable.

Glad I got on ship 2 when I did. Looks like its hard to get on ship 10 now too. Been on ship 2 for a month or so

I'm in ship 10, but right now it pop ups an error (Nº632 or something) I supose is the maintenance.

They are not restricting because they are evil, you know? In order to keep up the good ping and stuff, they need to regulate the crowd. Besides, do you think it is easy or cheap to make servers with space for at lest 2 entire continents? I think not. Better be thankful to SEGA for giving the chance to playing it

Do you think outsiders are the cause of getting servers full?? Think again, because we (the three Americas, plus other continents) are just the minority. ALL ENTIRE JAPAN is the main reason of getting servers full.
Don't expect other language version until 4Q this year or 1Q 2013.

Does anyone know what the next english server is going to be since ships 2 and 10 are locked? Would be awesome if it was posted on the front page once it is known.
