PSPo2i: CG Defaults [Part 1]

Posted by Ricardo

Another quick post today, Captain T is absent today so Sakai is filling in.

Yesterday, Sakai received many comments on why the Beast doesn’t appear in the Main Visual. He responds that the point of the Main Visual was to show 4 characters defeating an enemy, considering you only have 4 players in a party. Unfortunately the beast had to get cut out because now they have 5 races. Plus the main visual had to depict the four battle types, hunter, ranger, force, and braver. So you see there was no more room for the Beast.

Default CG Outfits Part 1

Human Male with his Daggers “Twin Carietta”

Newman Male, HE is not a girl…

The Angelic Female Cast.

The Male Duman Bullfighter.

Now that this game has both default outfits from PSP2 and PSP2 Infinity, you can choose whichever default you want. For those who will import your PSP2 character, you will see the new default outfits in the Clothes and Parts shop for cheap prices. Isn’t life grand?

Next time Sakai plans to reveal the rest of the CGs, but @rapico tweeted one already.

  • The 2010 Item Design Contest is over, but there’s soo many to choose from…

I love the new Caseal's outfit. I might even use it (unlike the default for PSP2 with that damn horn popping outta her breast… >_>;;). And while that Newman boy may not be a girl, he certainly has a Bridgett vibe that makes me wanna look way…. and never look back. >_<;;

I like all the outfits, except the Duman Bullfighter outfit. And I don't have problem on that Newman Male girly-outfit. XD

The only problem that I have while creating or changing my character's appearance is: sometimes I can't change the way exactly I want because I don't know all the detail.

Assuming that I want to change to Emilia, with exact appearance. I can't do it because I don't know the exact height, eye, face module etc. that she uses. I really wish they can fix this problem with something such as default appearance button, enabling us to change to certain character, or even default appearance of race(s) with one click. Or some outfits that will change our appearance together with facial feature, height, hair style etc.

Default Human Male is so cool.

You know, I might actually use a full default character (the Caseal) with no alterations to the look. The male newman will need a color change, the beast and human females I wouldn't use, default, and the dewmans are vamps, but I might use the female outfit. All the others are nice, and I wouldn't mind cast parts for all outfits, and vise versa. Being able to look like Emilia and still being able to use SUV weapons would be nice. Or the default cast male and use nanoblast.

The Female Cast outfit is nice and it reminds me of Arnval Mk2 from Busou Shinki. Including the Gunblade weapon

Managed to get game running on Windows 8 x64, just make sure the installation directoy is always “C:SEGA”
NEVER install it in program files x86, as it most likely won’t work.

Cirnopedia is up and running again for those who still need it for items and such. It also has notes for why it was down.
