PSPo2: Fun Fan 5, PSU Tie-in Mission, Weapon Grinding, Bans
Fun Fan 5 released today, which features hardly any gameplay videos. Unfortunately it is a Q&A session which will take me a long time to even go through. On the sidebar you can read the Phantasy Star Shout for some details about it. Anyway, enjoy blatant use of Fanta and Pizza hut advertisements.
Producer: Satoshi Sakai, Main Planner: Suganuma? Art Director: Mizuno, Sound Director: Kobayashi, answer questions submitted on the official blog. Topics they discuss are a level 200 mission, obtaining extend codes through challenge missions, and details Living Universe theme song. There can’t be any Japanese Q&A session without questions related to Emilia’s panties and the colors of the underwear each of the default characters have…
Shows off some of the collaboration items released as password item codes.
We finally have screenshots on the Grinding process that helps confirm some of the information posted before. To recap, you grind weapons by paying meseta. When it reaches it’s 10th grind it will display “FULL”. Once it reaches that point you must bring an Extend Code which will grind the weapon to S Grade.
If you notice the Saber in the screenshot above.
- Attack power: 135 to 527
- Accuracy: 28 to 342
- Minimum Level: 1 to 90
You can apply a special effect like Freeze, Sleep, and HP absorption.
When you take the weapon out onto the field, it will have some visual effects.
In similar respect to Innocent Girl, Sega will release a mission called Passport to Subspace! The mission is located at Holtes City Guardians Branch. Natsume Shuu of the Inherit company is researching subspace theory. You must enter a relics site to solve the mystery by locating a device!
For some reason, this relics site is constantly changing, each time you play, the contents of the mission will differ. The goal is to enter the deepest parts of the relics in the fastest time as possible.
If you transfer your character from the Japanese PSU:AoI, you’ll receive an exclusive item known as the Exam (Igzam).
Our Japanese sister blog Aoiyumi Diary talks about a new warning notice in regards to banning players who post obscene party titles and comments. It seems some chat parties are looking for real girls (not g.i.r.ls) to do things with..

And those bans? If you get hammered in the demo, it’ll carry over to the full version! Wahaha!

I went back and looked at the ban post and it had a selection from a 2ch board that was really amusing. I’m kind of surprised that there isn’t some kind of report button to combat some of that stuff.
