Teams can now acquire their very own room, where you can mingle, chat, and perform various functions. In order to start this process you must have a team and you must gather team client orders.
Table of Contents:
- Team Counter (#teamcounter)
- Team Orders (#teamorders)
- Team Expansions [Team Room] (#teamroom)
- How to go to Team Rooms (#letsgo)
- Team Storage (#teamstorage)
- Photon Tree (#photontree)
The team counter lists the following:

*Settings appears for the Team Master
*Room Expansion appears when you have a team room.
Team Orders allows your team to gain points to level up so you can acquire additional features. A particular Team Order can be accepted until 10:59 on Wednesday. You can redo team orders daily.
Team Client Orders
There are two menus, Team Expansion, and Team Room Expansion. Within the Team Expansion menu you can use your team points to further expand your team. Your current level is shown at the top right and below that is the team points. The window will display a list of available expansions you can purchase for the team. Some team functions will be grayed out if your team is not at the required level, or you don’t have enough team points.
Team Room Expansion is similar to the menu above but will only list things pertaining to the team room. You won’t see the Team Room Expansion menu until you have a Team Room.
Only Team Master and Team Managers can use this menu.
Team Expansion:
- チームレベルアップ Team Level Up (Lv.#)
- チームルーム取得 Team Room (Lv.2 Req)
Use the Team Level Up option to increase your team levels.
Team Room Expansion:
- チーム倉庫取得 Team Storage (Lv.2 Req)
- 事務カウンター管理人変更 Change Receptionist (Lv. 3 Req)
To open up the quick menu press the middle mouse button, then select
所属のチームルームへ行く, it is highlighted in yellow in the screenshot, a window will pop up, press “はい” or the left blue button.
The Photon Tree lets you acquire bonus effects when you touch it. You can increase the strength of these effects by cultivating your tree.
Photon Tree Menu
- 支援フォトン効果を得る Receive Support Photon Effect
- フォトンウォーターをあげる Photon Watering (#watertree)
- ツリーを成長させる Growing your Tree (#growtree)
When the Photon Tree sparkles, and it discharges powerful photons, you can choose and receive a Photon Effect. Periodically, a powerful photon in particular is discharged from the tree, and during that time you can receive the effect.
Powerful photons are discharged with the following aspects:
- 支援フォトン発生確率 Photon Occurrence Rate
- 支援フォトン発生期間 Photon Occurrence Duration
The first one deals with the chances that photons would emit from the tree periodically. The tree decides to emit a photon effect around every 20 minutes or so. The second one pertains to how long the photon effects emit from the tree. (upd 10/1)
Photon Effects last for two hours and will not expire even if you move from quests to field, to lobby, to room.
List of Photon Effects
- 攻撃力アップ ATK UP
- 防御力アップ DEF UP
- 取得経験値アップ EXP UP
- 取得メセタアップ MESETA UP
- レアドロップ率アップ RARE DROP RATE UP
The photon tree requires photon water for sustenance. When the water runs dry, the tree withers away and you can not receive its support effects. In this menu you can select how much water you want to give the photon tree by spending team points. Managers, and Team Masters can water the photon tree.
How much water:
- 限界まで Fill it to the brim (20,000 TP if dry)
- たっぷり Plenty (16,000 TP)
- 適度に Moderate (10,000 TP)
- 控えめに Sparingly (6,000 TP)
- 少しだけ Small Amount (2,000 TP)
When the tree is completely dry, it takes 20,000 team points to completely fill the tree. You can of course fill it in smaller amounts with 2000 points. (Upd 10/1)
You can cultivate your tree by spending Team Points. Team Masters and Managers can level up the tree, everyone else can only see the stats of the tree.
Choose an effect to level up.
- 攻撃力アップ ATK UP
- 防御力アップ DEF UP
- 取得経験値アップ EXP UP
- 取得メセタアップ MESETA UP
- レアドロップ率アップ RARE DROP RATE UP
- 支援フォトン発生確率 Supp. Photon Occurrence Rate
- 支援フォトン発生期間 Supp. Photon Occurrence Duration
This is the storage box you can share with team members. Items you place in the team Storage Box can be picked up by other team members. The following requirements are needed in order to use the Team Storage Box.
Team Storage Requirements
- Team Level 2 with Team Room Unlocked
- Common Members or higher ranking members.
- Premium Set Users Only
If you are not currently a Premium Set user, you can not use the Team Storage Box. Only premium set users can use the team storage box as long as they are common members or higher ranking.

I wonder if you can water the photon tree in the Essential version of PSO2, or do any team options for that matter.

Lol… Premium users to use the storage box… It's like trading… but ANYONE CAN TAKE IT!!!
Good thinking Sega. Way to be…

If only premium set users can use it, how is that free trading? Premium set users can already trade O_o. 7* and up items can still only be equipped by the person who bound it afaik. probably can't even be put IN that common box. I don't see how this is going to take away from Sega in any way. It's more like a way to allow for some easy to acquire free use items to be shared amongst premium members on the same team regardless of whether the current owner is online or not.

ricardo's wording implies that the team box becomes usable if anyone on the team is premium. he probably didn't mean it that way… or did he?
djecliptik
September 28th, 2012 at 9:25 am
It could mean that unless you're a particular ranking "common or higher rank members" you only have access to certain items in the team storage?

Would like some clarification if possible

@-Z- So in other words, all a team needs is just one Prem. Member and everyone can use team storage?

You must be a premium set user to use the team storage box, if you are NOT a premium set user, you can not use the team storage box.
If you thought it was the other way around, then that would allow for free trading, people would just make teams to trade for free without having to be a premium set user.

Common Members are general ranking members in the team. Team Managers are like Moderators, and Team Masters are like Administrators.
Changed the wording for the Team Storage Box. [Originally the wording was changed because someone thought it meant one premium set user would enable it for the whole team. It was changed to "any" to show that anyone who is a premium set user could use it.]

I don't know how you guys read that any way other than how it was intended, but ok. Thanks for clearing it up for them, Rcardo

I think my sarcasm in my post did this. Lol. Sorry.
But to clarify, I meant to say only premium users can only take anything from the box. Like how trading is. Both have to have Premium to trade.

I think someone read "use" as "take from" or "put in" too. To "use" the storage box, it means you can't neither put items in nor get items from it if you're not premium.

Fuck! This is why I preferred P2P subscription instead of F2P.

Something worth noting about the photon tree; the buffs seem to change every 20 minutes from what my team and I have noticed. Check your trees at x:20, x:40, and on the hour. If we're able to verify, may be worth adding somewhere.

Well atleast we made some progress figuring out the tree so I'm going to add a few things.

So…anyone playing on Ship 10? xD
Really, what is the point of that event? Random Team Invite/Search ftw lol only to get that prize ..

Any info on what "Rare Item Redeem Ranking" is in the Team menu? I would of assumed that may have been something like PSO's rare item deposit, but I see no option for that…. does it just calculate points based on rare items you find along the way?
Nibelungenlied
September 29th, 2012 at 2:42 pm
It is updated as team members find rares from what I've noticed Vash. Whether you sell them or not doesn't seem too matter, so long as you've gotten them at some point.
i.e; I find a 9* unit and my Team's rare item ranking rises. After I sell it, my team will not lose the ranking simply because I no longer own it.

Why does Sega even put in a storage if they're allowing only premiums to use it? I mean, premiums can already trade regardless of the storage. What is the point of it exactly?
Plant
September 30th, 2012 at 1:05 am
@Someone: You can access team storage whenever you want and take whatever you need regardless of whether the person who put the item in the storage is online or not. Trading requires both sides to be available at the same time.

For some reason, I'm more concerned with how it's even called water anymore if it's made of photons. Anything that looks like a tree can be called a tree, IMO, but water is water >_>
weeaboo
September 30th, 2012 at 10:35 am
its photon water
Nibelungenlied
September 30th, 2012 at 11:01 am
@natchu96 We have mineral water, tap water, spring water, etc etc….. Is it really that unreasonable to think they would create photon water for a photon tree?
Ren
September 30th, 2012 at 12:35 pm
@natchu96 Think of it like Vitamin Water. Except its infused with Photons!

Any info on why the price of the fill'er'up option on the tree's water rises? And if it ever stops rising?
Anon
September 30th, 2012 at 1:31 pm
Because it's losing water?…
It will probably stop to rise when the tree becomes dry. Then the fill up price will be the same as the "plenty" price I guess.
Ricardo
September 30th, 2012 at 2:23 pm
That's what we assume happens. If the option to fill reaches 16,000 Team Points, then that would be the assumed "dry"
natchu96
September 30th, 2012 at 4:46 pm
@Ren at least that would make a bit more sense.
Nibelungenlied
September 30th, 2012 at 6:10 pm
@natchu96 Because it makes sense that you have a photon tree, but not photon water?? -_-

Still no word on an update for my Team's particular Team order, I had a member send in the screenshot Ricardo.
Not sure if any other English-speaking teams have gotten it, but it is the combination of a Level 1 and above Za Oodan dropping some claw, you need 30 of it. The other TO is Level 21 and above Windira (Isles), not sure what the quest item is, you need 15. Rare order is rare.

The second one pertains to how the photon effects last
its not baff duration on character.
The second one pertains to how the photon effects available on the Tree, after photons emit. I think

Any idea if one can place furniture items in team rooms?
My team members seem to think we can (we're still earning TP for the room), but we can't find any confirmation.

Does anyone know if I let the photon tree die, the upgrade I made still remain when I grow it again ?
Remius
November 19th, 2012 at 7:59 am
If you upgraded it, yeah it should stay. Letting it die only seems to remove your ability to use the effects, it doesn't downlevel them.
Pol2y
November 19th, 2012 at 8:10 am
Then, can I upgrade it while it died ? I mean, I have a plan to let it die to avoid never ending watering it. So I can max out something I need like increase rare drop chance then I grow the tree back. Just want to make sure after I let the tree die, I don't have to start over from scratch again.
Does anyone here try this idea yet ?
