PSO2 JP: Patch (10/03/2012)
Phantasy Star Online 2 requires an update in order to continue playing the game. When you open the launcher, the game will automatically update both the game and launcher if necessary.
Launcher is currently:
- Version 01.03.02
Client Update
- ver.1.0101.3
- Dark-Sun’s Windows Admin. Permission Fix
Patch Size
- 80MB
- Synth’s Patch Mirror
(If you are installing the game for the first time, you will have to download an update which requires 2.3GBs of free space.)
Patch Notes
- Through a specific method, corrected a bug where you could repeat a team order despite the time limit.
- Corrected a bug where a character who moved to another ship could not accept team orders.
- Corrected a bug where based on the character’s body, the Kanabi Seikai costume would look unnatural.
- Story Quest “Darker Assault” Corrected a bug where an enemy would appear in a spot the player can’t reach, and you could not advance further through the quest.
- In Time Attack Quest Running Practice Lillipa, corrected a bug where the fence would not come down when the Gilnas were defeated.
- Added the Call of Mortality Trailer to the monitors.

80 MB a little big for just a typical maintenence patch, I wonder what was put in to the game files….

after the maintenance, i patched. and my launcher doesn't work anymore…any ideas?

According to the JP site, it seems that next week will be the implementation of: 50 Cap, New Interrupt Event, Subclass, 10 (*?) Rare weapons, Very Hard Difficulty.

Next week(on Oct. 10) it will come the Subclass system, Very hard mode, new interrupt event "嵐の贈り物(The present of storm)" , new weapons, new PAs and new Technics.

possibly. I suspect they might be slipping a bit of data in for next week while they're at it, to cut down the patching time then. I'm sure the data miners will find out if anything got in there waiting to be activated.

Funny, I was just thinking the other day how it was a good thing that the combo system from PSPo2 didn't make it into PSO2. I was thinking that it was be so broken and imbalanced if they did.

They took it a step further and made combos and weak bullets and weak spots and all this shit multiply damage. It is so broken.

After trying to update the game (to the new weapons and classes) for the 10th time I've decided to completely delete it from my PC. I was waiting for the lvl cap update but this is ridiculous. Sega should hire people who know how to properly program updates.

i load up the launcher. it crashes after the into video. pop up in japanese. this only happened after i engl patched it. i've reinstall but same issue.

So… I finally figured my problem with the game (i downloaded it some days ago, its updated and all now, and double-checked with a friend who already is playing it)… Seems to be the permissions problem. However, the fix did nothing.
I click on the exe, it appears the PSO2 small square logo… and then nothing happens. At all. Anyone knows what could I be doing wrong?

The gameguard appears, patches something (x/11) then shows the phantasy star logo, but the launcher never shows up.
Please post a valid link for a valid pso2.exe that will work.

Exactly my problem, though now im stuck at the maintenance patch, which never progresses and always shows error 12002.

don't know if it was a ninja patch, but i feel like my client runs much smoother in MPAs now, and my fps overall has increased significantly.

For those of you who patch and have the game crashing after the intro, open the game, and enter the third option (you know, the big button to star tha game, then there are 3 more above), that way it will re-do the "update" and allow you to play (in japanese) again
