Phantasy Star Portable 2 Infinity: Default Outfits [Part 2]
Good Morning. As expected, Sakai updated his blog today talking about the rest of the default outfits for Cast and Beasts. It seems the Japanese gamers loved the Human and Newman designs that were revealed yesterday. However, over here, we had a completely different reaction.
The Phantasy Star Fashion Show is in full effect today!
This outfit is like a Knight’s armor!
This outfit represents a White Angel
Parts of this outfit is made out of bone!
A wild and sexy fur outfit !

The old default outfit for PSPo2′s Beast was actually supposed to be a グラール釣りチャンピオン (Gurhal Fishing Champion)!? The new white angel outfit of infinity is supposed to be a direct contrast of the gothic black look of PSP2. Now that Beast Female looks like she’s thinking, “To hell with Little Wing, where’s my Gucci bag?”

Cast Male looks like the knight form White Knight chronicles and girl cast look the same but with wings lol the Beast Male looks like something out of monster hunter and the Beast Female ummm lol Clad 6 hooker

I’m not too hip on the female Beast. She looks like a hooker on the street in that outfit, lol. The CAST I do enjoy. The male Beast just looks like he’s trying to hard with the bones he could find in his closet.

I don’t really like the default M Beast either. It seems way too bulky… I’m not sure how I feel about the F Beast, though. But I definitely like the M CAST better than the first one. It makes me wonder if the GRM designers were taking a vacation during PSU, ’cause that’s a really cool CAST. The Female is pretty too, but I like the darker original better. But, these are just the default outfits, and they’re, in the grand scheme of things, totally awesome. I can’t wait to see what other outfits we can get.

I like the Casts, especially the Male. The Male Beast reminds me of MH and Ganondorf. The Female Beast reminds me of Geomancers from FFT and a hooker.

CASTs definitely look awesome – end of story!
I really like how they’ve been making Beast men all hawt and bara the last two games. The bones are a bit excessive, but I like it. I mean LOOK AT DOES ABS and DAT TAN!
THe Beast female…. eh, I only really like the shoes. She should be on the runway and wondering what thimble full of food she should eat for the day, not chopping up monsters in the field.

It seems sega has completely forgotten that “less is more” All the buttons, clasps, and frills from these new designs look like they could belong to any trashy anime franchise out there. Bring back the simple and slick designs of PSO please!

The Caseal looks like she could transform into a small space-ship and take off. And the Beast-girl looks like she’s been raiding Tina Armstrong’s wardrobe. ^_^;;

See, this is exactly why I love the CASTS, they always got awesome costumes.
The other reason is because they’re best with firearms/guns.

didnt Sakai say that the race restrictions on the outfits are lifted in this version of the game? but i do agree with most of what you guys have been saying the newman male and beast female and male default outfits are lame.

Apparently Phantasy Star’s first vampire clan just popped up on GameFAQs so I’m sure future Dumans will be happy to know they can now use the human’s starting outfit. ^_^;;

The CAST outfits are very nice, though I noticed that the female still has that ever so reviled “chin strap”. As for the Beasts…. well…. the male has a nice tribal look, but it’s just too bulky for my tastes. The females outfit might look better with longer pants (ending at the knees perhaps, with fur trim at the cuffs), something under the jacket so as not to come off so trashy, and ditching the tacky Leopard print of course. The only thing that can pull Leopard print off is a Leopard.

@Yojimaru – thats exactly what i was thinking for the male beasts’ outfit although now that i’ve looked at it closer i like how the upper armor looks like the bone structure on the forearms and shoulder but the vest and that underwear looking part as well as the leg part look all wrong for it, like u said too bulky, i also like that sun like symbol though

@Ricardo: That’s actually how I found this blog. I was looking up pics for the Beast (M) on Pixiv and found a fanart of Ricardo. I wasn’t sure if he was a new character for PSP2 so I googled and BAM, your blog popped up. xD
