Lol, Sonic Adventure 2 sounds when moving through the menu's. I half way expected the "confirmation" sound from it, too xD

So nice to see US/EU cares about the game's first impression.
I mean look at that "teaser" site, it's like an aspiring HTML developer (that cannot code just yet) slapped it together.
Remember the "teaser" site PSO2 JP used?
Why couldn't they copy paste that over to the US/EU "teaser" site?
This, to me, shows how much the company actually cares about international release. It's not even about first impression anymore, it's just releasing it to shut the rest of the world up. "Here, have your piece of meat too, now get lost."
Last nail in the coffin would be for them to announce a server split where EU/US will be like PSU.
If they do that, they may as well not bring the game over at all.
And again I will repeat, the gambling gatcha, will not work in the western crowd, I hope they rethink that.

I'm sticking with JP servers, I have little faith in SoA.

This is all fine and dandy, and I'm happy they're bringing it to other countries, my question is relatively simple, but important: will we be able to transfer our Japanese data over to those servers? As far as I know, our JP profiles can be used on the rest of Sega's website, but it's already been proven you can't use a different ship(which still bothers me). I don't know, maybe I'm getting uber concerned here, but it's something you guys might ask the next time you interview Sonic Team.

At this point we don't know if the Japanese and English servers will be shared. I'm sure that will be the major deal breaker if people want to leave the Japanese ship.

PSO2 EU/NA Wee <3 yeah! but sticking to JP.
If English patch (or official english with 2013 release) will be added to JP (possible) i will be very happy, still PSO2JP will have more content, and Language barrier can be destroyed with some time, so not worrying much here, also Lag problems are very minor (Most is Client side, but funny things can occur like friends shooting into air for you
)

Since it's F2P I will make a character on the NA/EU server (if they are split which is very likely imo) too. It's not like you have to pay 2 monthly fees so no harm done.
I'll definitely give it a chance, let's just hope it draws the right kind of people. Can be tricky with F2P games…

I agree, this teaser page is horrible if it's job is to attract attention, especially if you saw how flamboyant the JP teaser site was before. Even the Start Menu theme song they used on the website sounds lazy and slowed down from the original. I agree; looks more like "Ugh here, you little crybabies" than anything else. Guess it's JP for me.

This is nice and all, but I'm staying jp side. if they do an english client, great, but I'm not going to wait til 2013 just to start over again.

making one character on International server, and I'll keep the one on the JP side.
once the International one becomes stabilized (in terms of server and actual gameplay balances) i'll spend some money on it, i'm a bit paranoid about spending my money on JP server since i'm not japanese myself

@Derp i hope the unify the US/EU/JP servers – cuz Square/Enix is already doing that (unified the US/JP Servers) with FF14 – it shouldn't be too hard

iam TERRIBLY ashamed the least sega of america and sega of japan could do is do a joint translation of the text files and ingame text and give us an english option and a english community ship server

Hmm, 2013 sound far away…Yet this is awesome news as they’re not forgetting about their international fans. I will probably play on both JP and EU/US server. xD

regardless of how horrid the teaser splash page looks, at least it's being localized.
I can give two claps to SEGA for this "little" @ least

I don't mind waiting for the NA/EU version of the game. In the meantime, I will need to save up for a new computer:D
