Hmmmmmm…
8GB HDD, not bad, though they could overcompensate for patches…
Weak processor and graphics cards requirements, either:
1. The game is not polished graphically, will be enhanced later
2. The minimum graphics settings are tuned for lower PCs very well
3. The graphics in the game aren’t very high
Because there’s no Windows 7 in the minimum requirements, this was clearly aimed for older PCs, so I’m willing to bet on 2, probably a bit of 1, 3 is undetermined

Sorry about that, Windows 7 is there, I guessed I didn’t see it.

It is an alpha, so the requirements may change over time. Looking forward to more information on this game!

Man, I can’t even play WoW on my laptop without it lagging terribly … I hope this is different.

Those specs pretty much confirm console ports

for minimum requirements… Those are actually pretty high.
Check most games; they require a bit less. Especially on the ram. Ram is usually 500 to 1 gb at the very most for mins.
The graphics card… while kinda weak, remember again, it’s only the very minimum; usually MUCH below what its tops are.
We’ll have to find out when the time comes really….

With these requirements PSO2 should have some nice graphics.
These requirements are a little bit higher than Mass Effect 2 minimum requirements.

I’m a little more worried about the “Participants who live in Japan” requirement. Domestic only marketing much?
Not that I’m not gonna try my luck anyway, but sheesh.

Try registering anyway, even a japanese PSN account requires you to live in Japan. Yes Sony I live in Tokyo… yeah.. that place…

Haha, that’s true. Though one wonders if you’ll be asked to prove your residence by being invited to some launch party or something.

Hmm. I think I’d better start saving just in case.

Hey Taco God ever heard of Port over ? Its where they take great PC games and port them over to the PS3 and Xbox 360, while they may not be a true port its still the game in it’s entirety just made for the consoles. Plus I wouldn’t count out the console yet because those min req’s the XBOX can do!
