Emergency Code: Ship Congestion (PSO2)

Sorry for the long delay but Ricardo can’t stay up 24 hours. Based on the official Sega twitter feed, there may be times when you can not make a character on certain due to overcrowding. Around peak times, the server may get congested and you’ll be locked out of the character creation process for that ship.
Ship Congestion Error Message
The error message will inform you to create a character on another ship. Currently the English community has not decided upon an alternative ship, but current suggestions seem geared towards Ship 7 through 9. Unfortunately you can only create one character per account due to Arks Cash services not implemented in the Open Beta test.
If you want to play on another ship, you must delete your first character, then remake them on a different ship.

It doesn't matter, open beta will transfer your stats and character to the main game.

Should we wait till they make more room? or jump onto ship 10? Did a lot of people make it to ship 2? I don't want to end up making a mistake, seeing as we are limited on characters and not sure how or if we can delete them at any given time.

We can delete characters.
While being in char selection screen, click your character you want to delete, then choose the lower option. It will open a new menu with 1 sub-Option. Click that aaand *poof* he's gone.

I'm in 6 atm and I'll keep it there I think. Not gonna start all over right now. I think the ships will get crowded eventually, then when ship 10 get full of westerners, some ppl will start to create in 6 and so on.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought most people on the pso-world were debating on ship 10 as the "backup" ship until ship 2 opens up again.

My current character will not be moved by doing that. That is the problem, not creating new characters in another ship.

That's why I said I don't care about satying in ship 6. Even being only a couple of hours of gameplay, I have no reason to lose those to get in ship 2.

Official tweet from PSO2 just came in mentioning only Ship 7 and 9 are currently the only servers that isn't congested and able to create new characters in.

when i login this morning all the ship locked the char creation except ship7 & ship9 so i had to settle at ship9 atm.

Cry moar, and you'll keep crying when you find that all the english speaking community is on ship 2 and 10…but who cares you will most likely uninstall before the end of next week

I'm please to inform all of you that ship is operational! Well it was but we didn't have the clearance but now we do! Making my character at this moment? Was it Ship 2 Block 20/21?

Off topic, I've been finding an item that looks like one of the crates you bust open on the field for items. It appears in same section of my items list as the monster parts, and I'm just wondering what it is.

For one, they're horribly obnoxious. All that bitching and whining because they can't find a button. Here's a list of ships to avoid if you'd rather blend in with the crowd:
2 – Originally designated GAIZIN server. Has a fair share of Latinos. Jajaja.
4 – 4chan.
9 – Reddit.
10 – Refugee camp (when chara creation was locked.).

Ship 9 seems okay so far, been playing since server start and I'm yet to see non-japanese speakers.
But I can be wrong.
