Sega shall be distributing the Phantasy Star Portable 2 Infinity demo along with the Valkyria Chronicles 3 demo through a touch screen machine set up at various locations in Japan. This will allow those without Internet Access to download the demo onto their PSP.
The required size for this setup on your memory stick is 750MB and should take about 2-5 minutes. You have to connect it through a USB cable.
The locations of these machines will be available at many different Sega Club Amusement locations!
According to Terada, in the future, only at these Sega Club Amusement locations or Gathering events, you'll be able to get exclusive characters into your game. (Which I would assume is through Friend Search..)
Also we learn a new tidbit about Planet Treasure, you can obtain items called, "Extend Code Infinity" and "Fusion Code." Planet Treasure is available in the Retail version of the game through Infinity Missions.
Happy Rappy Parasol (Tentative Design)
The Happy Rappy Parasol (Rod) 3D Model was displayed yesterday and will be available with the Happy Rappy Set which comes with a keychain, a plush rappy to hide your PSP inside, and a hand towel.
The latest Famitsu talks about PA changes and such… (but you already know this…)
- Gravity Break now locks onto two enemies.
- Technics PP usage has sharply declined.
- Shooting weapons PP usage has decreased.
- Blade Destruction, Bogga Ranpa**, Dus Skadd, Anga Grudda power has decreased.
- The Axe Just Attack timing is slower.
- A PSP2i Collab Menu for various Internet cafes in Japan. (They sell food.)
**In regards to Bogga Ranpa, the demo's Bogga Ranpa power hasn't decreased at all, but the PP consumption increased considerably. It is possible either Famitsu meant Bogga Robado which did decrease in power, or the 2nd or 3rd part of Ranpa's attack was decreased. We won't really know for sure until the Infinity Bible is published in March 31st, 2011 or the producer addresses this.
