Well at least I can actually confirm this information. Remember in the interview post regarding the "ice scattering" effect when you hit an enemy with the opposite element. Here it is in picture form! It looks kind of like when a weapon breaks from grinding. Sakai also says you will also be invincible the moment you do a Exact Counter, similarly to AOTI Supplemental Update.
If you get a rare item or a weapon with more than 30% attribute, you will see the (congratulations) "ITEM GET" message pop up on the screens of all party members. Remember all players do not receive the same Item drop.
As for voice work, all the battle voices were redone, including Tonnio and Lina.
The installation function (mentioned previously) will allow the game to access information stored on the Memory Stick Duo as quickly as possible. It will shorten the time it takes to load weapon information and characters. (They really need to improve on Technic casting weapons, they load pretty slow even on the PC version of the game)
The Dragon (Sakai) will appear at Tokyo Game Show on Saturday!
Here are some of the new changes regarding technics. Some names will match with the English version of the game. Finally, we have an influence over the Japanese version!

LUMIA LUMIA LUMIA!!
According to this blog, and copied from 2ch, they found new information posted in Frag Magazine regarding new characters and more goodies at Tokyo Game Show. The source was unverifiable at the time, but was later confirmed once the scan found by Espio Kaos.
New Characters
Lumia Waber, everyone's favorite (or love to hate) character! This time she's 17 years old. Yes, it still takes place 3 years after episode 3, so presumably she aged during that episode. Lumia is still a member of Guardians, she works in the general investigation division. She is Ethan Waber's (who is known as a hero) true younger sister. Though her older brother is respected, she wants to shrink back the weight of her name, (or you could say she is disgusted/embarrassed by how popular her family name is.)
Crouch Müller, the gun toting bearded beast gunner! He is 34 years old. Crouch is the man who unites the private military company "Little Wing." He is the person in charge of protecting Emilia, but shows a lack of motivation and abandons his responsibility. He was once a notorious criminal it seems…

- The casting time is shorter in that you can cast 3 consecutive technics quickly.
- Shortcut Order
- You can order commands to your NPCs so they can focus on certain area.

- Challenge Mode
- You will play cooperatively with other members
- However your level and equipment will be restricted.
- Battle Mode
- Play against players in a mission.
- Only "Catapult Jump" battle has been revealed so far.
- In Catapult Jump you collect energy balls and acquire bases.
- You will also jump across islands!
- Mirage Blast
- A new type of racial ability for Humans and Newmans only.
- There are 6 kinds of Mirage Blast
- You summon a mystical beast for each kind to unleash an attack.
- New Fields and Boss
- Seabed Plant, an underground facility ran by Inherit company.
- Inherit Company studies living creatures, however they escaped!

Mirage Blast
Sakai in his blog post mentions that two new characters will be introduced as well as the introduction of the 4 default characters in Famitsu! Over at 2ch, (someone posted psublog there for whatever reason) there's some confusion on whats meant with the 3 step/3 hit technics. Someone asked if it's like the PA combos, we are currently awaiting more information on this subject.
