So now we have two community events, the National Fan Thanks Festa 2011, and Infinity Grand Prix. Sakai updated today talking briefly about the TV Commercial. He says that if you watch it carefully you can see new information through the screens or text. (In our case, the Japanese Fan Community spotted that Invincibility enhanced Nanoblast which we still don't know how it works. Then there's some other text like Dark Falz and SEED. )

Japanese gamers can meet to participate in both the National Fan 2011 and Infinity Grand Prix by visiting the event locations at the specific times. Admission is free and you can sign up for Infinity Grand Prix while you're at it.

 

One who attends the event is able to receive a password card of the Yellow Man Jersey, (whom is the mascot for Calorie Mate) and two Calorie Mates of Maple Flavor.

Sakai will be at all events and Terada and Suganuma will make it if their schedule permits. You can also meet Rie Tanaka by attending the Tokyo date.

Infinity Grand Prix

The entry is for 2 player teams to compete like last time. Entry is limited to 100 groups per meeting place. They will fight for the fastest time to complete a mission.  The winner receives a crystal trophy case, the ability to design your own original weapon, and a year's supply of Calorie Mates.  Participants can receive a Calorie Mate Strap, Infinity Pins, and a Rappy Pouch.

This week, the Jump Collaboration Weapon, Anchor Hook, was revealed! The details of how one can obtain this weapon will be shown in Weekly Jump in the future.

If you play PSP2i at Jump Festa 2011, you can receive the rappy pouch, which has been redesigned from it's original design since the last Shonen Jump.

The book will contain a Password Item for those who purchase the Infinity Battle Guide. Though not specified on the site, this password item is a collaboration of VJump and Shonen Jump. Currently, the Anchor Hook is the only known collaboration item between these two magazines. The Battle Guide contains information on over 1000 weapons, and includes a walkthrough of Story Mode Episode 2 Chapters 1 through 4. It's currently priced at 1,200 Yen. [Guide Book]

Terada's Corner

So blah blah blah… So last year before PSP2 was released, Sakai gave out password items to those who played  the game early at various shops in Japan.

• There are two presents being given out but Terada called these rumors.
• Sakai Character's _ _ _ _ _ – _ 
• Hyuga's Weapon _ _ _ _ _ _ – _
• Shin ichiro Miki on the net radio answering questions.

 

Is it just me or does one of the weapons have a resemblance to Shizuru's daggers.

One's a friend search character, the other is a product code.  If this is the case then the demo would have to be released by the time this event takes place?

Additional Comments

Now I don't know the meaning behind Nanoblast Invincibility in the trailer. The theories from Japanese gamers are.

• Nanoblast Invincibility.
  • All nanoblasts are invincible?   (I don't think so…)
  • The Invicible nanoblast lasts twice as long.   (Hmm. seems likely)
  • Regarding something to do with the player killing aspect of the black nanoblast. (Nah..)
  • It has something to do with the black and the blue nanoblast? [@mieminase thoery] (I like this theory…)

I do know the nanoblasts are being strengthened in some way.
