Little Wing License and Reporting Online Cheaters in Phantasy Star Portable 2

Well if you've been playing Phantasy Star Portable 2 (US/EU) version online, you may have noticed a few shady players who somehow "magically" reached to level 200 with type level 30. Or maybe you noticed enemies are regularly dropping Tumikiri Hyori even when Shizuru is nowhere to be seen. It appears Sega will actively support the international servers by removing hackers and cheaters online.

Little Wing License Updated

The Little Wing License is a code that enables you to access the Online Multiplayer portion of the game. The Little Wing License was supposed to disallow those with illegitimate versions of the game from connecting online. The License is now updated to only allow those with a valid code to play the game online.

All users now need the code granted within the retail copy of the game or which was automatically awarded when purchased digitally to access the online servers.  [Ruby Eclipse]

If you have already entered the code and are still having problems logging on. You should try to redownload the Little Wing License from your Playstation Store or Account Management Transaction History.

In my personal test I was able to connect without having to redownload the Little Wing License.

Summer 2009 Hotspots: Where is everyone on PSU?

As graduation and school commences, Phantasy Star Universe sees a small increase of casual and non-event players. Unfortunately for the Pc/Ps2 server, everyone is scattered across all three planets. It becomes increasingly difficult to find a party or much less chat with someone.

We present to you the usual hotspots people play during this time. If your a new player, read closely as it will shed some light as to why players are in this particular spot.

 Cylez City 5th Floor

g-colony-5th

Recommended Level 1-50

Percentage of Locked Party: 50%

Reason: Carriguine, Mission Points, Gaozoran Rod

Guardians Colony 5th Floor is the home to story mode and Maximum Attack G. If your a newbie here, it's your chance to gain some levels pretty quickly but you will need a full party or higher level player to survive the C rank.

Higher level players usually hunt the Carriguine as it can be used to synth the Carriguine Rucar. Other players tend to complete chapters in story mode. It will make it easier to solo missions as you receive partner cards from NPCs.

Cylez City 4th Floor

4th-floor

Recommended Level: 1-10, 50+

Percentage of Locked Parties: 20%

Reason: PA Fragments

Guardians Colony 4th floor is usually the chatting district of the Ps2/PC  servers. There currently hasn't been much chatting on this floor like previous years but it's usually a good spot to ask someone a question. Low level players usually start off in Linear Line and work there way through.

Once you play at S rank you may see some PA fragment parties. PA Fragments are used to purchase special photon arts that are available in the Guardians Branch on each planet.

The enemies here will throw Megid. It can become very expensive to new players who do not have shops and can't afford scape dolls.

Pavilion of Air: Top

pavillion-of-air-top

Recommended Level: 1+

Percentage of Locked Parties: 40%

Reason: Diads, Serafi Senba, Mission Points

Pavilion of Air: Top is home to the popular mission, White Beast. It's probably the first place someone would recommend you to visit. It's a very easy mission that gives out a good amount of mission points very quickly.

For higher level players it also gives them the chance to receive Diad and Serafi-senba. Its a pretty good place to chat with players.

 Kugo Hot Springs

kugo-hot-springs

Recommended Level: 75+

Percentage of Locked Parties: 80%

Reason:  Technic Leveling, Milla

Kugo Hot Springs is a pretty cool place to relax.  We've seen more and more players hunt here, and it's beginning to look like a spot to hang out in. It is not very fond to open parties since most groups are hunting for Milla.

Forces usually come here for Technic leveling because most of the enemies are clustered together. Sakura Blast is special in that it has a few safe spots within the crevices against the walls or behind the tree roots. You can easily level Ra-class technics here without getting hit.

Paracabana Coast

paracabana

Recommended Level: 60+

Percentage of Locked Parties: 70%

Reason: Armas Line

Paracabana Coast is a good hangout and chat spot for players. Many high level players will stick around here so they can get their hands on the Armas Line. There may be some low level parties here, however, Megid is thrown very often here and will use up scape dolls pretty quickly.

Mother Brain is another major problem as it requires a two step process that needs to be dealt with as quickly and efficient as possible.

Maximum Attack G: S Rank Guide!

Its August 1st 2008. Time for Maximum Attack G. Maximum Attack G 2 Extension will start on August 1st until August 22nd, 2008. Here is a quick handy guide you can use while playing this event

What is Maximum Attack G?

Maximum Attack G is a brand new event for Phantasy Star Universe. During this event you will be playing in locations from Phantasy Star Online. Specifically, Forest, Caves, Mines, and Ruins. While playing Maximum Attack G, you can earn badges which you can trade in for various items, or try your luck with a lottery for a chance to get some exclusively rare items.

Where is Maximum Attack G Located?

You can enter on Guardians Colony 5th Floor to start any Maximum Attack G mission.

How do you meet the NPCs?

There are three NPCs who do not show up as an icon on the map. Their locations are displayed as icons in the guide below. You will need all party members to step at the blue gate in order for them to be added to your party.

How Can I Get S Rank for This Mission?

Currently you need a minimum of 243 enemies killed to complete to gain an S Rank, which can be obtained by soloing. This mission isn't very difficult and you are allowed to die without any failures.

Forest

In order to obtain an S Rank, you must head into a secret path indicated by the map. Walk through this false wall and defeat the enemies. While your here, you can obtain extra badges which are located in boxes indicated at "B" and Ashe is located at "A".

Behind this Fake wall is the Key to getting S Rank.

Caves

After clearing the enemies at the entrance, both party members can step on the two ground switches to open the door in front of them. As you enter through, a series of rocks will be blocking your way. Use your goggles to find the weak spot so that you can break them. The other team member can optionally stand by a switch to open the door.

One person should wait by this switch until the others reach the locked door.

As Indicated with "B" on the map. Behind this door contains extra badges!

At the end of this block Rupika can be found here. Her Location is indicated as "R" on the Map above.

Mines

At the beginning of this block, there is a room that shoots out megid balls. After you clear the enemies, there will be a large blue gate behind you which you can use to meet Sue.

After you clear absolutely everything, the final room will have two red ground switches. Both party members can step on these switches to enter a false wall as indicated as "B" on the map. There are quite a few false walls you can pass through leading up to some extra badges. After you click the final switch, the party leader will get a message asking if they are ready to end the mission. Otherwise you can head on to the Ruins.

Ruins

Ruins is basically very straight forward, as long as you can achieve S-Rank by the time you finish Mines, you should be able to easily S Rank through the Ruins.

This is Kireek! He… w.l…. Ubwaaa……

In Block 1, there are 3 exits. The first warp near the entrance brings you to a darkened room with Kireerk, who pretty much says some extremely weird dialogue, asking you if you can fight. The second exit brings you to the Cake Sisters who sell Cream House and Chocolate House room remodeling tickets. If you want a bikini in the future, I suggest you consider purchasing these room remodeling tickets.

In Block 2 there is a long fight with Delsabers and Gaozoran so be prepared to heal a lot. After this long battle you can click on the transporter switch to access program DF.

Program DF

Dark Falz

Dark Falz, seen here, trying to find the mother's egg.

Program DF is the easiest mission on PSU you will ever see. You can even pick up some good rare weapons and make a good profit off of them. Program DF takes place on Ruins, and transports you to a Rykros water tunnel. You will fight Dark Falz in a new fish form and end up at some type of platform that shoots up into space. The platforms look pretty much similar to the blue arena in the Dark Fakis boss battle, except its pale yellow.

For now we can only speculate the purpose behind this platform.
