Timed Abilities are additional effects appended onto units for a limited time. These effects may increase various stats, improve drop rates, or provide support in different ways.
To get started, you must first [Update Data Drive], then craft [Timed Ability Data] items. After the entire process is complete, you may use these data items to attach the abilities onto units.
- ※ Performing this action binds the unit to its owner. This prevents the item from being sold or traded to other players.
Updating the Data Drive
Head to the [Crafting Terminal] in your Personal Quarters to get started. You can select [Check Data Drive] to see what Data Drives you have currently.
If you're just starting out, you'll have no Data Drives saved. Select [Update Data Drive] to start making your very first Timed Ability.

Select A Recipe
Select a crafting line and choose a recipe. The rightmost window lists the main effect that has the greatest chance to appear. This window will update with a different main effect each day. At the top you can see the Required Materials for each Recipe.
Crafting Materials
Each recipe requires three kinds of materials:
- Crystals corresponding to the recipe's planet.
- Unit Crafting materials corresponding to the location of the unit.
- Meseta
Insufficient materials will appear in red text.

Data Drive Screen
Once you have the Materials for the Recipe, you can now create a Data Drive. The results are random and show in the top left. In the picture my [Back / Forest 1] gives me a Main Effect and a Sub Effect that will give TEC Pwr +15 while in the Forest Area. However, I have not made a product that I can use on my unit just yet. This is only a Data Drive, I now click Save and it'll save it to my Back Data Drive.
Saved Data Drives
Once you've created a Data Drive, you can save it to your Backup Data Drive slot. Simply click [Save Data Drive] and select the one you want to save.
After you select a slot, you'll get a prompt showing what you'll be replacing. Since we are saving over an empty slot, the "Current Save Data" column in this picture is shown empty. If you're farming for powerful Timed Abilities, we'd recommend repeatedly saving your best ones!

Create a Timed Ability
Now that you have a Data Drive, you can finally create your Timed Ability item. Select [Create Timed Ability Data] and select a Crafting Line to use. You can use one of your Data Drives currently loaded to the Back, Arms, or Legs Slots.
Within the confirmation screen, you'll have the option to use a support item to extend the duration of the Timed Ability. Generally, it'll last 7 days, but with a support item, you can boost it to even more days.
This will now create an item for your Timed Ability. Using the item will activate the effect on the Unit type you have equipped.
Timed Ability items can be found in your Inventory under [Consumables]. Use it to put a Timed Ability on the corresponding Unit.
A confirmation screen will display with a list of what effects will be added to the Unit. Hit the confirm button once your satisfied.
You can now see the Timed Ability on your Unit. The yellow text under the [Augments/Timed Augments] is your Timed Ability. You'll be able to see how many days it has left. Any stats you've got from it will show on the [Stat Boosts] section.
Remember that the effects will occur when you meet the condition of the unit, such as playing in Forest for example.
