Laia Martinez

Ambitions End story mission has major plot changes and character devolopment as we are introduced to a brand new character named Obel. This is one of the few very hard story missions and this time, it doesn’t rely on time limits to increase the difficulty. However you have 6 minutes to complete it to gain S Rank results.

Ambitions End 1

At the start of the trial head forward and defeat all in front of you. For S rank purposes skip killing any Fire traps along the way. Some of them will give you keys to open a locked gate to the north. Avoid obtaining these keys as they will be a waste of time. Head over to the left and defeat the special assault ops. Get the key and head straight to the right, and defeat all the enemies to open the door to the next block.

Block 2

In the second block its very straight forward. Just try to kill them in the quickest amount of time possible. Eventually you’ll reach the end of the trial.

Magashi

Renvolt Magashi

Here you’ll fight several Magashi clones.  If you have 3 star luck, it would be a good time to fight Megashi to receive his special Arms, Legs, and Torso materials. Later on you’ll use these to create a new Partner Machinery not released yet.

Ambitions End 2

Here are the key points on getting S rank for this mission.

  • Minimize outside distractions, skip unnecessary monsters
  • Bring your strongest light weapon with the highest damage per second.
  • Skip monsters that appear in narrow corridors.
  • If you have a key, run to the nearest locked door or gate.
  • In Block 2, you only need 2 keys, avoid the other set.

Block 1

When you start the trial, defeat the 3 galdeen, and head to the right, defeat the next set of monsters. Then head to the right and pick up the key. You should skip every monster that spawns until you open the door with the key.

In every narrow corridor you will be skipping enemies that appear, including the Delp Slami that appears next to the ceiling traps.

In this last room you’ll see some inactivated floor warps. Do not step anywhere in their vicinity. They will automatically spring a trap and teleport you back, as indicated on the map above.

Block 2

As you start, fight the 3 galdeen in front of you, run to the right and avoid waiting for the key to drop. Head over and fight the large crab, hit it’s weak spot for massive damage. Run back to the start of the block and pick up the key and open the door. Head through and skip the Galdeen. As you reach to the next area, skip the Galdeen again, and fight the giant lobster across the dip, then pick up the key.

There is a fake wall behind this Zasharogan, if you run through it, you will obtain a key.

Head to the lower area and fight all monsters here and obtain the key to open the gate. You may now skip these monsters ahead and run to the right and fight the last 2 Zasharogan to finish the trial.

This mission also contains a treasure trove of Nanopolymers, Ortapolymers, and Metapolymers. But you won’t be able to obtain a S rank if your trying to get them. You can find keys hidden around in monsters or secret rooms. The map above shows you the exact 4 locations on where to find the keys.

Maximum Attack G: S Rank Guide!

Aug 1, 2008 Author: Ricardo | Filed under: Featured, Maximum Attack G, Newbie, Walkthrough

Its August 1st 2008. Time for Maximum Attack G. Maximum Attack G 2 Extension will start on August 1st until August 22nd, 2008. Here is a quick handy guide you can use while playing this event

What is Maximum Attack G?

Maximum Attack G is a brand new event for Phantasy Star Universe. During this event you will be playing in locations from Phantasy Star Online. Specifically, Forest, Caves, Mines, and Ruins. While playing Maximum Attack G, you can earn badges which you can trade in for various items, or try your luck with a lottery for a chance to get some exclusively rare items.

Where is Maximum Attack G Located?

You can enter on Guardians Colony 5th Floor to start any Maximum Attack G mission.

How do you meet the NPCs?

There are three NPCs who do not show up as an icon on the map. Their locations are displayed as icons in the guide below. You will need all party members to step at the blue gate in order for them to be added to your party.

How Can I Get S Rank for This Mission?

Currently you need a minimum of 243 enemies killed to complete to gain an S Rank, which can be obtained by soloing. This mission isn’t very difficult and you are allowed to die without any failures.

Forest

In order to obtain an S Rank, you must head into a secret path indicated by the map. Walk through this false wall and defeat the enemies. While your here, you can obtain extra badges which are located in boxes indicated at “B” and Ashe is located at “A”.

Behind this Fake wall is the Key to getting S Rank.

Caves

After clearing the enemies at the entrance, both party members can step on the two ground switches to open the door in front of them. As you enter through, a series of rocks will be blocking your way. Use your goggles to find the weak spot so that you can break them. The other team member can optionally stand by a switch to open the door.

One person should wait by this switch until the others reach the locked door.

As Indicated with “B” on the map. Behind this door contains extra badges!

At the end of this block Rupika can be found here. Her Location is indicated as “R” on the Map above.

Mines

At the beginning of this block, there is a room that shoots out megid balls. After you clear the enemies, there will be a large blue gate behind you which you can use to meet Sue.

After you clear absolutely everything, the final room will have two red ground switches. Both party members can step on these switches to enter a false wall as indicated as “B” on the map. There are quite a few false walls you can pass through leading up to some extra badges. After you click the final switch, the party leader will get a message asking if they are ready to end the mission. Otherwise you can head on to the Ruins.

Ruins

Ruins is basically very straight forward, as long as you can achieve S-Rank by the time you finish Mines, you should be able to easily S Rank through the Ruins.

This is Kireek! He… w.l…. Ubwaaa……

In Block 1, there are 3 exits. The first warp near the entrance brings you to a darkened room with Kireerk, who pretty much says some extremely weird dialogue, asking you if you can fight. The second exit brings you to the Cake Sisters who sell Cream House and Chocolate House room remodeling tickets. If you want a bikini in the future, I suggest you consider purchasing these room remodeling tickets.

In Block 2 there is a long fight with Delsabers and Gaozoran so be prepared to heal a lot. After this long battle you can click on the transporter switch to access program DF.

Program DF

Dark Falz

Dark Falz, seen here, trying to find the mother’s egg.

Program DF is the easiest mission on PSU you will ever see. You can even pick up some good rare weapons and make a good profit off of them. Program DF takes place on Ruins, and transports you to a Rykros water tunnel. You will fight Dark Falz in a new fish form and end up at some type of platform that shoots up into space. The platforms look pretty much similar to the blue arena in the Dark Fakis boss battle, except its pale yellow.

For now we can only speculate the purpose behind this platform.

Episode 3: Farewell to Mother Walkthrough

Jun 6, 2008 Author: Ricardo | Filed under: Episode 3, Walkthrough

This new story mission introduces a new character that will extend the Magashi storyline even further, but before you meet this new mysterious person you must fight your way through the depths of AMF Central Command.

Farewell to Mother 1

This mission isn’t terribly difficult, but will have different gates to open. Here are some general key points you should remember while playing this mission:

  • If a door has a switch next to it, wait until Maya’s cut-in-chat dialogue appears. If it does not appear, move onto the other door switch.
  • If you head in the wrong direction, you will walk yourself into a trap that depletes HP, and Maya will shout.
  • Remember that each time you play this mission, you may go a different path.
  • You will fail the mission if Maya dies. Be sure to have Star Atomizers on hand in case Maya just forgets to heal, generally she will heal as often as possible.

Block 2

In Block 2, walk forward and a conversation will appear, after its over chose the right door by waiting for Maya’s cut in chat to appear. If you choose the wrong direction you will see a trap in the room followed by spawns that just slow you down.

If Maya’s face appears, your going in the right direction

Block 3

Again, fight the enemies in the room and choose the correct path. If you chose the wrong one, traps will appear on the ground. Depending on the correct door, you will either receive key 1 or key 2. If you receive Key 1, take the portal back to the Key 1 and Key 2 gate and skip this spawn. If you get Key 2, head back to the Key 1 and Key 2 gate and skip the spawn and head to block 4.

Skip this spawn if you are trying to obtain S Rank

Block 4

Choose either right or left depending on whenever Maya’s face appears. As you head through just kill the enemies, kill the Seed-Argine, and you will finish the mission and obtain your rank.

After your done, sit back and enjoy this new character!

S Rank Guide: In order to S rank this mission you must complete it in the fastest time possible. You can generally get this by using neutral and light weapons with the highest damage per second possible. If you have Photon Arts that are speedy and quick, you should have no problem. The time to complete this mission is 12:00 minutes. You should try to skip the enemy set that appears next to the Key 1 and Key 2 gate. You should also skip boxes and healing pads as those will waste your time.

Episode 3: Restorations Walkthrough

Feb 16, 2008 Author: Ricardo | Filed under: Episode 3, Walkthrough

Restorations is the second chapter in Episode 3, and it covers mainly the tensions between the GUARDIANS and the New Rogues. This chapter features some switch puzzles and an audible maze which can really annoy you if you don’t have speakers. We will cover them both, so scroll down to the section you need when it is available.

Restorations 1

The general complain of Restorations is defeating Alfort Tyler whom is level 95 on all ranks. We will cover him later when we are up to him, but first lets go through the basics of the gate puzzles.

In order to get an S rank you need to not only destroy every enemy, but also destroy traps that shoot after you. Equip weapons and photon arts that can destroy these 3 hit traps very quickly. Twin Claws, Double Sabers, Twin Sabers, are very quick in destroying traps, try to avoid using guns as you may be running late under the time limit.

When you reach the first red gate, you do not need to press any of the green and red switches, just run behind the rock to the left and enter the portal.

As you reach to the second red gate puzzle, there will be 4 switches on the ground. Step on them so that the colors alternate

[Red] [Green] [Red] [Green]

Both gates on the left needs to be two lines horizontal to each other, no red gates should be touching, no box formations, just two gates horizontal to each other.

As you cross over, just press any switch so that now the gates form 2 lines | | vertical to each other. There should be no horizontal gates. Afterwards head over to where you see a rock and cross the bridge to defeat an enemy. After your done, head behind the rock, hit the switch and teleport yourself inside your vertical gates and head over to block 2.

Block 2

When you first enter there will be a small nook that you need to cross, a trap will pop up in that area which you must destroy. After you pass the trap you need to enter a room to your left or indicated in the map with the monster sign. This will just help your achieve S rank.

When you reach up to a gate blocking your path to the right of you, you can just head forward, and step on the Green switch so that now you can’t go back from where you came. Enter the only room you can with the green bubbly plants and destroy the enemy to be teleported back so that you can now enter the area that was previously closed off.

S Rank Guide: There is a shooting turret before you leave this room, its to the left of the door. If you skip this you will not be able to get S Rank.

After this you will reach up to key 4. Don’t worry about key 4 right now, your main job though is to make sure that you leave the gates in the proper position so you can obtain it later. First step on the floor switch so that the red gate no longer blocks a portal. Then step on the switch on the other side so that the gate closes off the portal.

Make sure to set the gate up like this when you use the portal. Note that the portal is closed off again. Don’t worry about that key, we will get that last.

As indicated by the map key 1 is located after Key 4 before the teleport.

Key 2 is located as indicated in the map inside boxes. Then obtain Key 3 inside other boxes.

S Rank Guide: Use Goggles to choose the right switches to cross the bridge. If you cross the bridge without activating any traps, this will help towards getting the S Rank

You may now cross the bridge to obtain key 4, immediately afterwards, take a 180 degree turn back from where you came to fight the last enemies and open the last gate.

Valley Of Suspicion 2 Walkthrough

Jan 3, 2008 Author: Jay | Filed under: Episode 2, Walkthrough

Valley of Suspicion isn’t really that hard. It just requires you to use Goggles to find keys.

Some keys are hidden though but it might not be plainly obvious where they are. So now we start a very breif walkthrough of Chapter 5 Act 2.

Map of the Second Block

When you start the first block, its pretty simple that you basically use the goggles to find the right switch to open the door. When your viewing through the goggles, look for a green circle. If you see a green circle, you can press that switch to move on. Eventually you will reach another set of switches that can activate traps. Just use your goggles to find the switch that doesn’t contain any trap near it, and the gate will open.

Bil De Vear

Kill Bil & Get Key!

When you reach the next block, you’ll have to deal with finding 4 keys to open a gate. The first 2 keys are located by defeating the Bil De Vears. The other 2 keys are located at the entrance by destroying the two traps that shoot at you. Again you’ll eventually reach up to another 4 key door, and you’ll just need to defeat the Bil De Vears to obtain the keys. There are 4 distinct Bil De Vear areas so just walk up to those places and defeat them to get the keys.
