Just Attacks aka Timed Attacks aka Exact Attacks, is a special feature added into PSU and Ambition of Illuminus that allows you to increase your damage rate based on the time you press your attack button. Its not very hard to do, it just takes practice to get it consistantly.
To activate Just Attack, each weapon class has their own unique time for you to press the attack button. Sabers and Claws are the easiest to activate, but other weapons, such as, Double Sabers and Long Swords takes some time to get used to. You may want to start a mission and just practice pressing the attack buttons at different times to get the Just Attack effect. The key to getting a Just attack to work is to time your button presses. If you press any attack button before your supposed to, your next Just Attack will fail and will result in a normal attack. Even if you mash the attack buttons but press it during the right frame of animation, it will not activate Just Attack. You can only press your attack button once for each combo at a specific time.

You’ll know when Just Attack is working when you see a Yellow Ring around your character and that Extra Hard Hit sound from PSO plays.
You can string up to 5 combos of Just Attacks. You can also mix your Just Attacks with Photon Art: Just Attacks at any time during the 5 string combo. Note that the Photon Art (PA) will only allow up to 3 combos depending on the skill. For example you can do a full combo in sequence:
Attack > Just Attack > Just Attack > PA: Just Attack > PA: Just Attack > PA: Just Attack. (6)
Or you can mix in your PA: Just Attack early in the combo sequence:
Attack > Just Attack > PA: Just Attack > PA: Just Attack > PA: Just Attack (5)
As you can see, once you input a PA: Just attack early on, your maximum combo is reduced. It will be reduced even further if you don’t have your Photon Art skill level high enough to do a combo.

Finding the right time for each weapon will take some time. Here are some tips you can use to figure out the timing for the harder elements:
The easiest way to get to any place in Phantasy Star Universe is to ask a friend to pay for a special flight to a certain lobby. Once you visit the lobby once, you’ll be able to pay for a special flight there any time you want. Just make sure you have enough money because the further away the lobby is from the city, the more money you will have to pay.

Ask someone to pay for a special flight to the Casino Voloyal Lobby.
If you don’t have any friends you’ll just have to work your way there. It should take you less than 45 minutes to get there from Moatoob. So here are the missions you can do in order to quickly reach:

While your on Hive Laia, (see even the game hates Laia), the 2nd part of the mission has you pressing a few switches before their power levels deactivate. Its very annoying and takes very long to figure out if your doing it alone. Luckily there is a way to push all switches under the time limit. Just make sure you aren’t lagging and have nothing else to distract you.
Tips:
The first order of business is to defeat all monsters. Do not worry about pressing switches or anything. Just fight. Eventually you will reach a large room where you can see a red gate to your left and another red gate in front of you. The gate that needs to be open is the one in front of you. Walk over the green switch and walk off of it to make it turn off. The gate that was in front of you should now be open. Ignore that small room for now and defeat the monsters in the room in front of you until your back where you started. Open up your map screen so that you can see where you should place Laia to stand.

The Purple Dot is where you place Laia. After you set her there you can run over towards the first switch.

As soon as you activate the first switch, run to the teleport behind you and activate 2.

Then activate #3, then exit through the teleport nearby. Straight infront of you is switch #4. Activate it and the mission is complete!
Casino Voloyal is where its at! The Vol Brothers struck it rich and created their very own casino. Each day you get 1 silver coin, this equals to 100 bronze coins. You can play the slots or the large roulette wheel in the center. The slot machines have a special mode called Fever Mode! While you are in this mode you’ll pretty much win every time you play. The main goal is to get the GappoGappo Jackpot. Its the amount that scrolls on the top of the screen in the green bar.

To get into fever mode takes some serious luck. Some days I get it in about 50 bronze coins, other days I never get any. Its just the luck of the draw. I have noticed a few things so far, but we may never know if its true or not. I found that if someone gets Fever Mode on I switch my slot machine to theirs, I’m more likely to get x3 bells. I usually get Fever Mode when I play on a slot machine that no one else is playing. Everyone has their own strategy for the Casino, but here’s how to play it safe. We’ll update the list when we find a pattern we can stick by. Remember!! None of these tips happen 100% of the time.
If you have your own tips, you can add it to the list, until we get some brilliant mathematician to get some hardcore statistics.
