Limited Quest: 2 Chilly 2 Chase

• Revamp of Chilliest Chase from last January.
• An 8 Player Remake where you use Floating Boards to defeat Giant Mutant: Konigssee Yedi Geo
• Obtain Super Genesis Festival '24 SP Scratch Tickets as a reward.
• This SP scratch releases 12/10.

Force Class Update

• The Force Class is getting balance adjustments.
• Rods, Talises, and Techs will get flashier effects.
• Force will get new class skills.
  • One of them boosts the power of Techs with Rods without consuming skill points.
• New Tech Arts Customization compatible with Photon Arts and Techniques will be added.
  • Excluding Talises and Wands,, one of each weapon's photon arts and one technique each from the fire, ice, and light elements will become customizable.
• New Limited-Time Tasks will be added. Complete them to receive TA Customization Disk A & B as well as N-EXCubes.

New Line Strike Cards

• 15 New Cards will be added to Line Strike.
• PSO2es characters, Gene, Annette, Aphtal, Holcid, and weaponoiods will be joining.
• The Card Scratch ticket lineup will be updated, and sleeves featuring Seasonal Chip illustrations from PSO2es and Playmats with key visuals will be added to the Line Strike Card recycle, as well as direct trades for cards from the 2nd wave.
• Two types of Starter Decks centering on 2nd and 3rd wave cards will be added to the AC Shop.

Various Improvements

• The number of items that can be selected as Item Enhancement materials in the Item Lab, will be expanded from 5 to 10!
• An icon will be displayed when something new is added to the Item Trader lineup. This icon will be displayed for all exchange items at first, but there will be a feature to clear all icons in each shop category at the Item Trader.
• A series search function for EX Special Abilities will be added to the Player Shop search. By adding a question mark to the end of the EX Special Ability name in the Special Ability Preset Skill search settings, you will be able to search for all related Special Abilities.
  • Please note that since this is a new extended functionality, items listed in the shop before this update will not be included. You will have to re-list them in the shop to enable this feature.
• New Build Parts for Creative Space include the Gravil-series Weapon Cmo and Reindeer Rappy Plush.

AC Scratch: Melty Blood Style '24

• Cosplay as Miyako Arima, Dead Apostle, and Powered Ciel
• There's also a Mag Form modeled after Neco-Arc.
• Expect to see weapon camos, ARKS ID Backgrounds, Line Strike Cards, sleeves, and playmats.
• The Collab Line Strike cards are like "Weapon Camos" of specific existing cards and will just have the same effect.

Limited-Quest: Drill: An Even Chillier Chase

• Similar to 2 Chilly 2 Chase, you must use Floating Boards to chase down and defeat Konigssee Yedi Geo.
• The quest has been revamped for solo play, with even more obstacles on the course.
• ARKS Records will be held at the same time as well.
• In The Super Genesis Festival '24 SP Scratch, you can receive Weapon Camo *Gratis Almati and *Frere Almati CV.
• Some items in the Super Genesis Festival '24 SP Scratch will be added to the regular Special Scratch after the event ends, but at a lower rate.

Urgent Quest: Co-Op Starless Suppression Op

Limited-time Trial: St Great Rappy Suppression

• Available until January 8th in the Nameless City Residential District Investigation quest.
• St Great Rappy will drop master fragments and alpha reactors.
• At low health, either Captan or King Captan will spawn in to assist St Great Rappy.

About the Mid-Scale Update: The Festival of Light and the Dark Tyrant

This will be the first mid-scale update in some time. With all the content coming through February, along with even more updates not shown in the video, they've decided to start titling the updates.

About the Super Genesis Festival

In addition to 200 free SG Scratch draws, players can also get their hands on new voice stamps derived from panels from the Central comic. Keep an eye out for the ★12 Twaalv weapon series, the first of its rarity, along with the new EX augments in the applicable Nameless City quests. They're sure to have a place in any player's arsenal for a long while. Meanwhile, players can recoup meseta by seeking out the St Great Rappy Suppression trial in the Nameless City. The Saint Great Rappy encountered will drop alpha reactors worth 70,000 meseta. A rare drop boost will become active during the festival, making it an opportune time to hunt for your first ★12 weapon.

Updates for January and Beyond

New high-difficulty content featuring Ruine Masquerader will be released that coincides with the arrival of ★12 equipment and future equipment upgrades. Players of the original PSO2 will feel a sense of nostalgia when experiencing this content. Dark Falz Vael is part of new story content, thus an Urgent Quest version of the fight will be released first. More details and a new roadmap will be revealed during the next Headline.

Would it be possible to implement a teleporter with multiple destination options as a Creative Space Built Part?

The link teleporter that moves you to another space actually checks whether the destination room exists at the time of the move, and whether the user is able to enter that room before displaying the destination. Multiple instances of this process executing simultaneously can cause information on one of the multiple destinations to not be correctly confirmed, and the game may freeze. Implementing the ability to use one teleporter to access multiple destinations within the same Creative Space runs the risk of causing glitches, and would require significant modifications to expand the current system.

Can you tell us when you plan to update each class? I would like to know when the class I'm using will be updated.

Following the Force class update in December, they plan to update the Hunter class in February, and the Braver class around April. More specific details will be revealed in the upcoming roadmap and during future Headlines.

I would like Face Options for Animatica Face that make it easier to create male characters. Are there any plans for this?

They are currently working on a version of the Animatica Face that will allow for more masculine features with an anime aesthetic.

Frieren: Beyond Journey's End Collaboration

• NGS will be collaborating with the Frieren: Beyond Journey's End anime in January of next year.
• A new key visual featuring Manon and Frieren was created by the NGS art team in commemoration.
