Aquistica Park Effects
Layer: Stars and Swooshes
Now we are going to decorate our design with stars and swooshes. Swooshes can be pretty hard to make so we will edit a font to create one.
There are a bunch of script Fonts you can use, such as Renaissance, Radagund, Dobkin, Witched, Cursive, Little Days, Gesselle. All you need is a cursive font that loops the bottom portion of the L
Open a New Image by clicking File > New. 600×600 is Fine for the Swoosh
1. Click the Text Tool, and type "L", then change the font to a Script font that loops the L. Next change the size to around 200, some font sizes may vary so you’ll have to play around with the size.

2. Change the Color of the L to Red Baron. Click Apply And Click Object Selection Tool (O) and Right click on the L and Press Convert to Path.
3. Click the Edit Mode Arrow in the Tool Options (F4) Pallete. Drag over a few nodes and press DELETE. Delete the portions of the L until you are left with only the bottom swoosh. If you are having trouble you will have to click and join nodes together, if a node doesn’t join well with another point, you can select the other node your trying to join and try to connect them together. Make sure to undo if you mess up. You can also download the Swoosh.

4. Back on the Aquistica Park Layout, create a new VECTOR Layer, and put it below the Red Content Layer but above the Purple Background Layer. Copy (CTRL+C) the L from the new image and Paste (CTRL+G) into the Aquistica Park image. Rotate it to create a design. You can also add as many as you like and change their colors. Remember to CTRL+C and CTRL+G to add more.

5. Add stars by clicking the Preset Shape Tool (P) and selecting stars from the list in the Tool Options Pallete. If you don’t have any stars, you can use the font Wingdings, or search for some.
6. You can also add more stars and logos around the purple layout like shown below. These are on another Vector layer with Overlay Blend Mode. The colors for the shapes are #ebc7ef for the purple and white for the star sign. The fonts used are Destroy Dingbats letter "z" and Wingdings.

Layer: Text
7. Create a new Vector Layer, and keep this layer at the top. The font used as Text in this layout is called Petita Medium, Size: 12, Color: White. "On Sale" is using the font REZ, and the black badge behind it is a font called FontCo Flare of the letter "n"
Layer: Cellphone
8. Create a new RASTER layer. Find a Cellphone picture and crop it, don’t worry about the white around it, just try to get it as close to the cellphone picture as possible.

9. Copy that picture to the red header. Press CTRL+E to paste it as a slection. Use the Move Tool (M) to move it into position, and right click twice to remove the selection.
10. Create a New Vector Layer, place it underneath the Raster cellphone layer.
11. Draw a rectangle beneath the cell phone so that it covers picture’s white area. Click the Pen Tool (V) and drag the edges so they curve.
12. Next click the Object Selection tool (O) and drag the edge of the rectangle so that it sort of slanted and coming at you. You can hold CTRL at the end of the rectangle to create a trapezoid effect or hold SHIFT around the edge to slant it to the side. At the Bottom Edge points hold CTRL, and move the mouse up and down until you get it right. No white square portions from the cellphone should be sticking out at the side.

6. You can then copy and paste the original swooshes you made at step 4 and add it to another layer below this one. Add stars and other shapes, to add more pizzazz.

Congrats now your done with this long tutorial, see you next time.
