New Xbox 360 4GB Slim “Arcade” Replacement, and Kinect Bundle Priced

Today the pricing announcement for Xbox 360′s Kinect Bundle has been revealed. But first, the announcement of a new Xbox 360 console directed to replace the existing “Arcade” console.

Xbox 360 4GB Slim

On August 3rd, 2010. The Xbox 360 4gb “slim” will be priced at $199, featuring a new black console model which includes a built in Wifi-N, and 4GB of internal flash memory. Apparently the 4gb model will be a “flat” black matte, while the 250gb version will have that glossy black finish. You can of course “upgrade” this model by inserting the 250GB hard drive.

Xbox 360 Kinect Bundle

The Xbox 360 Kinect Bundle is aimed at existing Xbox 360 owners. It is priced at $149 and comes with a free Kinect adventures. This deal is running through Amazon.com.

Xbox 360 Holiday Bundle

The Xbox 360 Holiday bundle sports a Kinect, Xbox 360 4gb and Kinect Adventures, priced at $299, coming later this year.

The pricing structure seems apparent to compete with the Playstation Move Console bundle which comes with a Playstation Move Controller, Sports Champions, an Eye Camera, Playstation Console for $399.  Though I still believe Playstation Move is the cheapest to purchase on its own as it’s bundle only costs $99 compared to Kinect’s $149 starting price.

  • Nice post. I learn something more challenging on different blogs everyday. It will always be stimulating to read content from other writers and practice a little something from their store. I’d prefer to use some with the content on my blog whether you don’t mind. Naturally I’ll give you a link on your web blog. Thanks for sharing.
