i am a very big fan of tv i wish iwasn’t but nun the less i am. i lovedancing with the stars & would bedevasted if i couldn’t watch.
as far as the fees & the bigmoney for the ceos they are going to be very disappointed when they get to where they are going & realize they can’t take it with them. you know money is the root of all evil & from what i’v seen of rich people lately their all evil
i would like to keep abc7 because of alot of my favorite shows are on it.

According to the FCC:

“Cable companies generally are required to
offer a basic service tier. The company
generally requires all subscribers to purchase
this tier before purchasing additional video
programming. The basic service tier is
required to include, at a minimum, the local
broadcast television stations and the public”

FCC considers FIOS a “cable” company

When I looked at a FIOS Bill and TV plans, I generally do not see an option to purchase just the basic channels. These basic channels are included in the TV Prime package.

Perhaps we’ll never know how much of the FIOS bill goes towards local channels unless we had some insider source.
