I thought it had something to do with me not quite meeting the system requirements, so maybe you guys should check that... other than that, I have no clue what the problem may be. The problem that I am having with my Sims 3 is that the game crashes after a certain amount of time playing it. What happens when playing it is the game stalls, with the music still playing, my screen goes black, and then I have to press CTRL, ALT, DELETE, to end the process in Task Manager. And it seems to happen after playing it for about 10 or less minutes. If anyone else is encountering the same problem as me, let me know!

I don't know what triggered it but it there were quite a few people who couldn't do it, and others who could. So technically it's still a bug. My Sim escaped the fire, but spent the next minute or two running around with a fire on his upper back. The Firemen were 'unable to reach the fire' to put my sims out. My Sim became a horse shoe shaped pile of ash. The Reaper then arrived. 'Unable to kill a Sim in a fire, yet you can kill them in other ways.' Umm... no.
