How to Cancel AIM/AOL Bebo Profile

The steps for removing your AIM/AOL account on Bebo is very easy. Just remember you can not reverse this process unless you want to contact Bebo staff on your own. You will not be able to go back to the old AIM Profiles. 

1. Click Settings at the top of the page.

 

2. Click on “cancel my account”

 

3. Click “Yes, Cancel my Bebo Membership”

 

Here are some notes about canceling.

• You won’t be able to view most of your AIM or AOL friend’s profiles if they forgot to set the account to public.
• Be sure to inform your friends to set their profiles as public.
• You won’t be able to re-register the same AOL email address as a new account.
• To reactivate your profile you need to contact Bebo Support.
• It will take 24+ hours before you are fully removed from Bebo’s system. This includes the Profile Friends group on your buddy list and your status messages.

  I dont have a screen name…signed on to AIM and AOL has been comming on ever since…trying to take the place of my Yahoo, can’t stand this.

  I deleted my Bebo account over a week ago, yet I am still showing up on google search with a bebo account. I really don’t want any bebo pages to show up with my name in google.

  Is there any way I can prevent this from happening?

  WHAT THE HECK IS THIS NEW THING NOW >>? NOW BEBO DONT COME UP AND THERES A LIFESTREAM THING THAT WONT ALLOW YOU TO SEE YOUR OWN PROFILE>> WHY DONT AOL NOTIFY US BEFORE MAKING ANY CHANGES>? I WANT BEBO THE SAME WAY IT WAS BEFORE! SHUTTTT! !

  AOL is gasping for air. What was once the world’s biggest internet provider has now become something laughable. Now they’ve deleted Bebo from their family and replaced it with Lifestream. What a joke. I’m cancelling my AOL account because they think it’s okay to attach themselves to my private Facebook account. The joke is on them because I’ve spoken to so many people who are so upset with this that many of us will be leaving AOL in droves. AOL needs new management who won’t just change things for the sake of change..
