But some people used them for hate and ugliness towards other people and it was getting way out of hand.. Because someone could hold a grudge againts you for no real reason and then put lies about you on their homepage.. So it is always a few psychotics who make it bad for decent people.. Bebo is a joke, I do not even like the name, reminds me of a childs playroom that is not responsive to changes. We now have something called Lifestream.. and it looks like something I would never want.. You cannot use your buddy list to alert you to when stalkers and mean people are around you becuase if you do it goes directly to the lifestream page listing them as friends.. IT IS ALL CARP....!! They deleted my profile three times in a week when they went from AOL to AIM profiles then screwed it up again with that BEBO crap and now no one has a profile at ALL> Also, notice that there is NO WAY to report bots' profiles. Aol truely doesn't care. If you don't believe me, just TRY to find a way to contact them. Always a bad sign when a 'service' doesn't want to hear from it's users. Still spiraling down the toilet for the final flush it appears. It's like they are TRYING to put themselves out of business. Have you looked at the so called chat, lately? Denver used to have two rooms FULL most of the time; you couldn't get in there. Now, one or two real people and it's over run with bots. AOL has taken away monitors and there is no way to eject the bots unless the entire room clears out and one of the 'real' people wants to guard it 24/7. A sad state of affairs indeed.
