Aim Buddy Updates Box Gone Missing?

Usually, I consider this a bug but it has taken so long to get fixed that now I wonder if its actually a fix.
After upgrading from Aim 6.1 to Aim 6.5 the buddy updates box that shows when your away messages updated has gone missing.
The buddy updates box now only shows for RSS feeds, Aim Share, and Aim Profiles. However, all update entries still show up at settings.aim.com, just not in the buddy info.
If you want something there to show up, just update your profile, add an rss feed, or even share a link, and the box will come back but only for those entries.
Note: If you add an Aim Share link, there is currently no way to remove it from listing until it expires and that can take a long time.

When I got my new laptop I downloaded the latest version of aim, and was pretty upset to discover the away message buddy updates weren’t there. (internal diaglogue- "noooooooo!" )
I still have 6.1 on my desktop, and wasn’t sure if i could find a way to get it to my laptop, so I was pretty excited to find this site…

it didnt work for me i still dont have the box in profiles =(
You have to make sure you have any of the higher AIM 6 versions uninstalled. Like if you have 6.5 you need to uninstall it first. That worked for me.
Hey guys. I’m not positive if this is what you’re talking about, but I have also found it annoying how the Buddy Updates box thats shows other buddies’ updates is now gone in AIM 6.5. For now, I have just created my own update box the retreives the exact same updates as what aim had done, as well as showing their profile picture and online status.
