		<description>Well, heres a little trick I found out. If you create a new account that can do chat with others. You can actually link it to the old account in the settings tab so you can alter between the two. So you can save your buddies and join chats still, hope it helps.</description>

Sign into AIM with Meebo.com, it supports chatrooms and solved our problem.
Kind of annoying if you go in chats a lot, but its the best fix so far I guess.</description>
