I'm assuming your phone has Java.
If it does you can download j2me or java applications that run AIM. HOWEVER if you have no "WAP" access, this would be highly impossible to use. You need some form of data plan to use an application. Plus I still don't know if Tmobile blocks java applications over their networks like they used to.

Hey,

I want to use MSN on my iphone with ebuddy, but we get charged for texting outside the USA. Does eBuddy use texting or does it connect to the sever via internet?

Thanks

You'd have to log into AIM through your HTML browser. I have no idea if your AIM application uses SMS or data. For now the safest way would be to log into ebuddy mobile or nimbuzz mobile.

@tater!
This is what you should read:

http://bumped.org/tek/2009/01/19/do-you-get-charged-for-using-aim-mobile/

To answer your question, Yes you will get charged. You have no texting plan which will seriously hurt you considering the amount of texts it takes just for AIM to sign on.
