PSO2: Quest Counter Guide

We had several negative feedback regarding the explanation of the Quest Counter menu in previous guides. This guide will hold your hand from actually starting a quest, to joining other parties. This quest counter guide will expand further in the upcoming weeks.

Where is the Quest Counter?

The Quest Counter is located in the Gate Area lobby. This lobby is notable for its dark blue layout. Outside of the window you can see little spaceships (aka Campships) arriving and departing.

What is a Party?

A party is a group of 1~4 players together in a single quest.

What is a Multi-Party?

You can have up to 12 players in a single quest. Certain quests are designated for Multi-Party play, which means that through certain parts of the quest you will see other parties fighting the same enemies together. If you want to attach your party to someone else’s party, read here.

Starting a Quest

When you talk to any of the Quest Counter ladies, you will reach the Quest Counter Menu.

Quest Types

アークスクエスト: Arks Quest:

A quest that has specific goals. You can’t return to the Arks Lobby unless clearing or cancelling the quest.

ストーリークエスト: Story Quest:

To unravel the mysteries of the world of PSO2.

タイムアタッククエスト: Time Attack Quest:

Two to Four players rush through a quest in the fastest time.

緊急クエスト: Emergency Quest:

A difficult quest that shows up for a limited time for 1 hour.

フリーフィールド: Free Field:

Travel through the field freely at your leisure.

Quest List

Quest list

Depending on what quest type you choose, you will see a list of available quests you can partake in. If you want to unlock more quests, you have to complete client orders. Consult the Open Beta guide for more information about client orders from Koffee.

Quest Details

This shows information about the specific quest.
クエスト種別 Quest Classification tells you whether a quest is intended for Solo, Single Party or Multi Party play.
パーティー招待: Party Invitations (Allowed 可 / Unallowed 不可)
受注条件: Accepting Conditions: (なし: None ) (Some quests require a specific level or a specific client order.)
制限時間: Time Limit (なし: None )

Appearing Items

出現アイテム : Will show items that may drop in that particular quest.

Party Menu

When you click on a quest you’ll see various difficulty modes:

ノーマル: Normal
ハード: Hard (Clearing a specific client order unlocks this mode.)

フレンド限定 (Radio Button) Friends Only
チームメンバー限定 (Radio Button) Team Members Only

Press the OK Button to start the quest.

*Password protecting multiparties lets you host your own private multiparty areas. This is useful for teams (guilds) to create their own private 12 player quests.
