I'm actually starting believe that it's not even Broomop anymore, and just posers trying to get attention and be interweb famous.

This is really rustling my jimmies :T, and not to be supportive, but I like it sometimes, like when the quest counter lady is close to the campship, it saves me time (only a few secs, but w/e).

The healing/buffing is the main problem, it causes TERRIBLE lag in the lobby, I have already crashed once from it.

Considering the trouble Broomop made for PSO years ago, I would not be surprised if someone was impersonating him, giving his address to the community, simply to try to get him physically hurt from a grudge.

And if it is the real deal, then IP banning the West is in fact Broomop's goal so that he has an undying legion of haters to give him attention for months to come. The sooner we are banned, the better he would like it. IMNSHO.

Man, i'm glad that I was busy this morning and unable to play anyway. Things like this do upset me, because while we can speculate all we want about the hackers intentions, the reality to me is that it still interrupts everyone else game play and gaming experience. It isn't fun for me when I go and try to turn in a client order, and the NPC is floating in the sky, or behind the glass. It hinders the time that i do get to play, so the bottom line is it isn't doing any good for any of the players, and only hurting the game.

Didn't Broomop like, said he wasn't doing anything? hell, I though he retired.

And for fucks sake, even if he is responsible, which I kinda doubt giving the fact that he actually like/d PSO at some point, he's not the only bloody anarchist on the internet, a small search on the googles showed a lot of results relating to this exploit.

I know it sounds weird for someone to defend a griefer at this point, but the man was responsible for years of PSOpc and PSOBB fun for me, but if he's the one doing for shits and giggles, well… torches and pitchforks maybe?

After hearing the interview from expfull.com, it seems to me like they are just trying to get SEGA to tighten up on their implementation of countering exploits so that these future problems won't happen in the future by the time the western version hits.

It's one thing for broomop to be doing stuff like this, and be done making his point. But if broomop is giving these idiots who have been moving npcs and such the tools to do so, shame on broomop.

I'm not on Ship 2, but I'm really angry at these kids ruining the fun for the rest of us, I just hope PSO staff doesn't ban all of us non-Japanese for an individual's misbehavior…

It just goes to show that a few immature children like failmop and others ruin a perfectly fine game for the rest of us. Granted FailGuard is about as much use as a rubber in a monastery and it should be changed but even so mop and the rest of the children should be IP and MAC banned, Traced back to their homes and actually had some law enforcement action taken against them. This wont happen though Sega never got a hold on the whole hacking even back on the DC with PSO ver 1 and that was over 10 years ago and they still have not learned anything.

Mop never had any tools to start with. He begs,borrows and steals other's work claims it as his own and then hands it out for a small paypal fee ofc. So not only is this a$$ ruining this version of PSO for the entire West he is also going to be making money from other's work this shows you what mind set this child has. He did it with pso and psu and he'l do it again with pso2.

Iv just started again (Only had a lvl 9 humar on ship2) but I refuse to be on the same ship as these children. Atleast when the jp's hack they dnt mess it up for the rest of us.

Guys don't give in to this kid Broomop(if this really is Broomop doing this crap), he's a fake, a fraud, and steals everything he claims to use. I did some research on this little kid, and all he does is steals this other guy's programming and codes, like many people have said don't give in to his pathetic cry's for attention, just leave him alone:)

While I'm at it if anyone has been banned I believe this is the page you need to visit to appeal: https://ssl.pso2.jp/players/support/inquiry/ I'm not sure if anyone has been successful in getting their ban removed. Sega may well ignore appeals from foreign players.
