PSO2 JP: Patch (9/26/2012)
In order to continue playing Phantasy Star Online 2, you are required to update your game. When you open the launcher, the game will now automatically perform a file check then download the update.
Launcher is currently:
- Version 01.03.02
Client Update
- ver.1.0101.2
- Dark-Sun’s Windows Admin. Permissions Fix
Patch Size
- 15MB
(If you are downloading the game for the first time, you will have to download an update which requires 2.3GBs of free space.)
Patch Notes
- Corrected a bug where it showed the incorrect date and time for Team Ranking to end. For example, instead of saying that it ends 10.25.2012 it would say 10.26.2012.

As usual, here's the PSO2.exe for those with permission issues after patching: https://dl.dropbox.com/u/2280026/pso2exe.zip

May I ask here if the problems with GameGuard still persist? Haven't played this in around a month, so I'm wondering if now is a good time to come back.
Thanks in advance.

@Shizune: Since Saturday I'm having issues with the GameGuard, the game just won't launch, or the GameGuard error report will pop up or the GameGuard will just kill random process.
My system was the same before Saturday, and I don't think that Borderlands 2 broke anything.
I tried all the fixes I could find and nothing works.

First two team co's (Im on ship 7) are as follows:
http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/826/teamcofo… – collect 20 drops from lv1+ forest fongulf (or kill)
http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/404/teamcofc… – collect 20 drops from lv21+ floating continent nodiran (or kill)
These are soloable, but as they are item drops im not sure how handing them in works yet….

Can't believe they got so lazy with the lobby music as to put the shrine temple song from PSU. inb4 Halloween and any forecoming song share the same fate.

Nitpicking about the lobby music? Really? Wow. Just. wow.

Yeah, so what? I give great importance to music in this game, seeing them being this lazy leaves a sour taste in my mouth. No need to be condescending, by the way.

yeah… well.. that's just like.. your opinion man.
IMO the music is beautiful, I don't care if it "re-used" from PSU or from "Classic Koto music best hits CD"

>great importance to the music
given how half of it is forgettable as hell because of the procedural generation thing, I guess it's not too bad to complain of reuse with the few things that aren't suffering that.
though I wonder if you'd be complaining if it was reused from PSO1.

@SenpaiSilver:
I guess it's still not a good time to come back then… I wonder when it'll be fixed.
May I ask if GameGuard makes you experience any problems while not running/attempting to run the game? Maybe I can still play it now and then, while no work is being done alongside it…

@Shizune:
Try uninstalling your antivirus before playing and then reinstall it after you're done playing. It works for me.
I read other users from pso-world that there's a possibility GG is colliding with the AV, causing the OS to freeze/shutdown.

removing your comp's security for a game's sake isn't exactly a good idea… :/

What security software are you using?
