- Changed the block names on all ships.
- Adjusted the item drop rate on F. Continent.

As per usual, here's the PSO2.exe for those who have permission issues after the update: https://dl.dropbox.com/u/2280026/pso2exe.zip

I had to do the update of course, but didnt get any permission errors. Is there a reason why some are affected and some arent?

@Meka: Since everything in the English patch is client sided, it is therefore undetectable by GameGaurd's CRC. It's safe.

@Mark: It's apparently related with how the launcher updates the game and then assigns permissions to the executable when copying it from the temporary folder into the normal game folder, for some people it keeps assigning "system" permissions first, but then due to lack of user permissions it can't set the user permissions so that users can use them. The weird part is that this didn't happen before, but now it does.
This is more or less the gist of the permissions bug that plagues some people and not others, which depends on their default user windows user rights when updating PSO2.

Yeah I use windows 7 64-bit as well and have had no problems either. it appears the majority of the issues with the game stem from unforeseen issues with windows XP.

Fixing the PSO2.exe yourself is actually fairly easy:
right click the PSO2.exe (or any other PSO2 executable that has access issues) and select . In the new window,g o to the tab and click continue. Another window comes up where you can see the users and grouos that have access to the file. Click add and enter the windows username where you want run PSO2. Alternatively, if that user has administrator rights, just add " administrators ". click ok and the window closes. In the list of allowed users should now be the entry you just added. click on it. in the lower half of the window is a list of access rights for that user/group. Check allow on the first one, this should check all other entries as well. Close all windows with ok and you are done.

Heey, i have one problem! ;w;
When I start the launcher, it appears a box, and the launcher closes, after this, the pso2updater launchs and it corrupts the pso2launcher.exe. WHAT CAN I DO NAO? D:

the item drop rate on F. continent doesn't seem fixed.
I've killed about 30 caterdransas with S-rank on the quest, trying for an item for a client order (unlocking Guts Drink EX)
Bosses aside, mobs barely even drop shit for me, dammit!

@roast beef
I might be wrong, but AFAIK ingredients for guts drink EX are not drops from caterdransa, but from caterdran (volcano map)…
