Phantasy Star Portable New Information with Trailer!

In the latest Dengeki magazine, New Details for Phantasy Star Portable has been announced. Phantasy Star Portable is a game based on Phantasy Star Universe exclusively for Sony Play Station Portable. It features 2 new characters, a whole new story mode that fills in the gaps between Episode 1 and Episode 2. Your antagonist, Helga Neumann is responsible for terrorist attacks across the Gurhal Solar System. You’ll be playing along side Vivienne, a female cast with bunny ears who sort of looks like a happier version of Helga (DUN DUN DUN!).

From the Phantasy Star Universe Moving Comic, Helga appears to be Howzer’s right winged woman. Howzer, your main atagonist in Ambition of Illuminus, leads the operations of the Illuminus. During the original Phantasy Star Unvierse, Magashi was actually Howzer, or lets say Magashi was created in Howzer’s image. Now Helga is one mysterious woman. She single handedly caused the whole SEED infection within the Cast race by kissing Mother Brain. What we don’t know is how she was able to attain such powers. Whats very peculiar about her is her last name, Helga Neumann. In Gurhal’s history when Humans first colonized the Gurhal Solar System, they created Casts, Newmans and Beasts. Is it possible that she was also created and constructed to be a SEED weapon? Who is she exactly and why does she look so Emo. We can’t wait to find out!

I’m crossing my fingers that the graphics for PSP will be as gorgeous as what’s currently available for the console versions of PSU.

getting it even if I have to camp out in the mall
As a person who cant play online, i look forward to the 4 person multiplayer! ^-^ they should of done it for PSU: AOTI ;~; also, i dont care about grapics as long as the game play is great nothing else matters!

Appears to be Vivienne vs Helga?!?
Vivienne resembles Helga also but I doubt theres a connection hopefully not but I wouldn’t be suprised just like me and my frend weren’t suprised when Hyuuga turned out to be the new all seed magashi version from single player. i had a cast girl people used to say was such a unique looking cast girl with bunny like appearence but now it seems more of them are coming out yay with Vivienne look X)
I was noticing their hairstyles were similar. Watch there be some twist that Vivienne is a double agent and doesn’t even know it….
I don’t see any immediate connection or likeness to Helga and Vivienne, but it’s also entirely possible that Vivienne may wind up with a connection with Illuminus in some way– her profile on the official site says that she’s a prototype model created by GRM, and she’s been active for two months. We also already know that GRM has had silent, yet claiming innocence/blackmail, relations with the Illuminus in the past.
You’ll be more likely to liken Helga’s SEEDform to how Hyuga transforms in the Episode 3 story missions, but she clearly has control and intelligence in that state.
For More Comedy: Vivienne’s double saber is the same "Vivienne" double saber found in PSO Blue Burst’s Episode 4.
I hope you can link up with the ps2 to expand on your data, that’d be awesome!! and if your character could talk,? that’d be even more awsome. (since you do choose between preset voices, why not?) heres hoping.
As shown in the jp website, you log into your account through PSP’s internet browser, download some data and it transfers to your game.
