The latest issue of Famitsu Magazine revealed details of Phantasy Star Zero for Nintendo DS. A brand new world into the series of Phantasy Star. This game will be very loosely based on Phantasy Star Online, borrowing only its class types and interface. The rest of the game will be brand new with brand new characters and a brand new style! This game is expected to be released on December 25, 2008.

One of the few features Phantasy Star Zero will borrow from PSO will be the classes. In clockwise order starting from the Green Android figure at the top and ending at the center, the classes are:
These are all the classes described so far. There are two brand new classes to the PSO series. One that appears to be a cross between a newman and a hunter in a bodysuit.

These brand new areas depict the visual departure away from Phantasy Star Online. There is definitely some Phantasy Star Universe influences going forth but this game will detach itself from both. You and up to 4 players will be hunting through these areas.

The top screen will show all the action taking place, while the bottom screen will show important information and stats, including what attacks you have equipped. Though the visual style is different, you can see that the HP bars borrow from PSO, however TP has been changed to PP. The attack icons also are very similar to PSO’s style.

The symbol chat of PSO has been expanded even further. This has been described as similar to PicToChat, where players can use their elite illustrative skills to send messages using the stylus.

Ambitions End story mission has major plot changes and character devolopment as we are introduced to a brand new character named Obel. This is one of the few very hard story missions and this time, it doesn’t rely on time limits to increase the difficulty. However you have 6 minutes to complete it to gain S Rank results.
Ambitions End 1

At the start of the trial head forward and defeat all in front of you. For S rank purposes skip killing any Fire traps along the way. Some of them will give you keys to open a locked gate to the north. Avoid obtaining these keys as they will be a waste of time. Head over to the left and defeat the special assault ops. Get the key and head straight to the right, and defeat all the enemies to open the door to the next block.
In the second block its very straight forward. Just try to kill them in the quickest amount of time possible. Eventually you’ll reach the end of the trial.

Here you’ll fight several Magashi clones. If you have 3 star luck, it would be a good time to fight Megashi to receive his special Arms, Legs, and Torso materials. Later on you’ll use these to create a new Partner Machinery not released yet.
Ambitions End 2
Here are the key points on getting S rank for this mission.

When you start the trial, defeat the 3 galdeen, and head to the right, defeat the next set of monsters. Then head to the right and pick up the key. You should skip every monster that spawns until you open the door with the key.
In every narrow corridor you will be skipping enemies that appear, including the Delp Slami that appears next to the ceiling traps.
In this last room you’ll see some inactivated floor warps. Do not step anywhere in their vicinity. They will automatically spring a trap and teleport you back, as indicated on the map above.

As you start, fight the 3 galdeen in front of you, run to the right and avoid waiting for the key to drop. Head over and fight the large crab, hit it’s weak spot for massive damage. Run back to the start of the block and pick up the key and open the door. Head through and skip the Galdeen. As you reach to the next area, skip the Galdeen again, and fight the giant lobster across the dip, then pick up the key.

There is a fake wall behind this Zasharogan, if you run through it, you will obtain a key.
Head to the lower area and fight all monsters here and obtain the key to open the gate. You may now skip these monsters ahead and run to the right and fight the last 2 Zasharogan to finish the trial.

This mission also contains a treasure trove of Nanopolymers, Ortapolymers, and Metapolymers. But you won’t be able to obtain a S rank if your trying to get them. You can find keys hidden around in monsters or secret rooms. The map above shows you the exact 4 locations on where to find the keys.

The details of the this friday update has been pouring in. Here’s a quick glance on what updates we are to expect. This will be the first actual new content update since June.

Every year Neudaiz celebrates the season with its Holy Light Festival. During this time, you’ll be able to see Neudaiz at night. As well as see Jaggo Actes spawn from various locations.
Where Can I get Light Festival Décor?
You can find this in the room decoration shop on Cylez City 2nd Floor. This item no longer needs synthing and can be bought premade.
What items drop from Jaggo Acte?
Jaggo Acte is a seasonal rare enemy that drops the exclusive Ank Bico. Ank Bico is an axe thats shaped like a hammer. Its one of the most strongest axes currently in the game. Ank Bicos drop with a random element attribute and random percentages.
Where Can I find Jaggo Acte?
As long as you enter a mission that has level 50+ enemies, you will be able to find Jaggo Acte in several locations. These locations include:
For map spawn charts consult PSUPedia for more information.
Since we did not get Neudaiz Guardians Boost Road during this seasonal event, we will not be able to hunt for the Ank Bico Board. The only mission that drops it would be White Beast S2. We will unfortunately have to wait until next year to get it.

Its August 1st 2008. Time for Maximum Attack G. Maximum Attack G 2 Extension will start on August 1st until August 22nd, 2008. Here is a quick handy guide you can use while playing this event
What is Maximum Attack G?
Maximum Attack G is a brand new event for Phantasy Star Universe. During this event you will be playing in locations from Phantasy Star Online. Specifically, Forest, Caves, Mines, and Ruins. While playing Maximum Attack G, you can earn badges which you can trade in for various items, or try your luck with a lottery for a chance to get some exclusively rare items.
Where is Maximum Attack G Located?
You can enter on Guardians Colony 5th Floor to start any Maximum Attack G mission.
How do you meet the NPCs?
There are three NPCs who do not show up as an icon on the map. Their locations are displayed as icons in the guide below. You will need all party members to step at the blue gate in order for them to be added to your party.
How Can I Get S Rank for This Mission?
Currently you need a minimum of 243 enemies killed to complete to gain an S Rank, which can be obtained by soloing. This mission isn’t very difficult and you are allowed to die without any failures.
In order to obtain an S Rank, you must head into a secret path indicated by the map. Walk through this false wall and defeat the enemies. While your here, you can obtain extra badges which are located in boxes indicated at “B” and Ashe is located at “A”.
Behind this Fake wall is the Key to getting S Rank.
After clearing the enemies at the entrance, both party members can step on the two ground switches to open the door in front of them. As you enter through, a series of rocks will be blocking your way. Use your goggles to find the weak spot so that you can break them. The other team member can optionally stand by a switch to open the door.

One person should wait by this switch until the others reach the locked door.
As Indicated with “B” on the map. Behind this door contains extra badges!
At the end of this block Rupika can be found here. Her Location is indicated as “R” on the Map above.
At the beginning of this block, there is a room that shoots out megid balls. After you clear the enemies, there will be a large blue gate behind you which you can use to meet Sue.
After you clear absolutely everything, the final room will have two red ground switches. Both party members can step on these switches to enter a false wall as indicated as “B” on the map. There are quite a few false walls you can pass through leading up to some extra badges. After you click the final switch, the party leader will get a message asking if they are ready to end the mission. Otherwise you can head on to the Ruins.
Ruins is basically very straight forward, as long as you can achieve S-Rank by the time you finish Mines, you should be able to easily S Rank through the Ruins.
This is Kireek! He… w.l…. Ubwaaa……
In Block 1, there are 3 exits. The first warp near the entrance brings you to a darkened room with Kireerk, who pretty much says some extremely weird dialogue, asking you if you can fight. The second exit brings you to the Cake Sisters who sell Cream House and Chocolate House room remodeling tickets. If you want a bikini in the future, I suggest you consider purchasing these room remodeling tickets.
In Block 2 there is a long fight with Delsabers and Gaozoran so be prepared to heal a lot. After this long battle you can click on the transporter switch to access program DF.
Program DF
Dark Falz, seen here, trying to find the mother’s egg.
Program DF is the easiest mission on PSU you will ever see. You can even pick up some good rare weapons and make a good profit off of them. Program DF takes place on Ruins, and transports you to a Rykros water tunnel. You will fight Dark Falz in a new fish form and end up at some type of platform that shoots up into space. The platforms look pretty much similar to the blue arena in the Dark Fakis boss battle, except its pale yellow.
For now we can only speculate the purpose behind this platform.
