Google unveiled My Maps service, you can call it your poor man’s Google Earth, as some of the extra features that Google Earth uses has now been added into My Maps. My Maps requires users to log in to add placemarks, lines, and notes. You can easily export your placemarks into Google Earth. Within your Maps you can add any videos or photos of your travels. These will be included in the search results of Google Maps, you can also alternatively decide to keep your Maps private for only a select few.
